Check in Here if you have a 991.2 GT3 PTS Order

Yep, seems very odd so I'm not going to drop it at this point and keep bugging them. After looking at them on a .2 GTS at the dealer I really can't see an issue.

Hi NS2, thank you for the nice picture. Is that possible you could help me picture a .2 GT3 in Grigio Telesto for different angles ? I am about to submit my build with request of PTS.
Thank you
Thank you

gt3 order has officially been approved
yet by Germany for any US customer,
the PCNA/PAG order computer is not
allowing you to go any further & has
these options (re: to PTS) on 'hold'
until a final go-ahead decision on PTS
is made?

Could it be that since no PTS .2 991
gt3 order has officially been approved
yet by Germany for any US customer,
the PCNA/PAG order computer is not
allowing you to go any further & has
these options (re: to PTS) on 'hold'
until a final go-ahead decision on PTS

I am happy...if it comes about! My 'confused'
was related that it's the first time I have ever
seen you tell the readers of your fine thread
that there might be just the slightest possibility
that not everyone might get a PTS chicken in
every pot at the end of the process! And if you
recall history, Hoover in 1928 also promised a
car in every garage! So your are Rennlist's
new Herbert!
We are now up to a 10% PTS possible rejection
rate. It reminds me of weather forecasts in
England: Wait a minute and it will all change!
In a nutshell, here is my problem with PTS
'Open Borders' where everyone can come in
& get one. It's not the Porsche I know! If on
the just recently completed limited edition 911R
run (where EVERY SINGLE ONE of their 991
customers was either a 918 VIP, a Captain of
Industry, European royalty or a Piëch and/or
a C.J. Wilson), PAG only allocated 50 to 100
slots for PTS! Why would now every Tom, Dick
& Harry that is requesting PTS in a mundane
.2 991 gt3 be so 'special' as to merit this
otherwise hard-to-get option & simply on
demand? True, a leopard might change it's
spots in evolutionary 'time'. But will PAG
totally change its opaque & restrictive PTS
program in the space of 12 months? Color
me 'doubtful'. But if there is now a historic
shift in PTS policy that makes it available
to all, I am all for it!
I am also a man of simple tastes. So let's make
our wager a box of the 'Picpoul' from that wine
Juggernaut region in France - the Languedoc!
And don't forget to keep the beers I won in our
last wager nice & cold for me. I arrive in Portland
on Tuesday, August 29th to pick up my '17 .2 991
S Coupe...and drink some delicious beer!

As far as the terms, we will never confirm 100% on the list just because a lot of these come to me through PM's or infrequent posters (like Graham Rahal!). I capture them all, but as you can see by the questions on the list, there is a lot of data missing. It will be clear if I am right and you are wrong, so let's just do it!
I know we have a fundamental difference of opinion and I don't want to drag this on further, but I do want to make sure you understand where my optimism is coming from. The last regular GT car that I have detailed information on is the total run of PTS is the 991.1 RS thanks to inside information from Loess:
Just logic based on past practice- not "a chicken in every pot" LOL!!
Finally you say that anyone can place an order, that is not the case. I don't know anyone who has successfully placed an order in this latest round of allocations. I think it's 'closed' now to new orders outside of a few that had allocations open in December or earlier.
I hope we can get together while you are in Portland- I'll send you an E-mail!
Thanks,
Andre

I'll ping my SA tomorrow to see if he has an update on the month and if I'm in V180 limbo land.

your "I've seen just a part of your wine selection,
wow! This could hurt me more than you since
I have simple tastes!". Simple tastes? Why you
seem to be as snooty about your wine as Mooty
is about his bicycles! Frankly, I could bring myself
to take that $200 bottle of wine from you! I already
feel pretty bad that I am going to drink your fine
beer from the last wager you lost...and I'll be there
to do it next Tuesday night at your house!
Let's make the wager an honest American wine from
the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York!
It's affordable! And you'll have extra money for the
potential cost of an 'Orange' wrap should you have
to settle for a 'White' .2 991 gt3!
Besides, I will need a bottle of bring to my in-laws
at the next Passover seder!

here have raised expectations that just about all
that requested PTS from PCNA will get it! Whether
you think it applies only to those with first allocations
in 2017 is not really the point here. An illusion has
been created that has lead some to post here that
'(Porsche) is trying to make PTS as easy as possible
to build so that we all get our PTS cars'. Should that
no go as expected, there will be hell to pay!
number of assumptions in your calculations that
to me seem incorrect. But regardless, we will find
out soon enough how Porsche AG decides the issue
& allocates the PTS slots for the .2 991gt3 in the US!
And trust me when I tell you that I hope & wish that
I will be buying you the Manischewitz!
