Also had f83 prior to GT3. BMW has lost me with their new designs. M2 CS imo is the best car they’ve made lately. Have been bidding on some e46’s on bat. I will have one in my garage again at some point. For now it’s Darth Vader as a daily. Mods are done. 750whp, spacers and cete lowering module. Canceled Akra exhaust once I saw the cayenne turbo GT reveal. If it’s not the turbo GT next then I’m def all in on electric as a daily. The performance can’t be beat.

The one giant flaw with any M2 Comp or CS, is the seating position. It's sky high (feels like you're sitting on the roof) and slightly crooked to meet crash safety test criteria. The short wheelbase and chassis makes it playful and fun to drive, but the seating position killed it for me. The M3 is low and centered, like a sports car should be. The E46 was so good, I owned two back to back, the only car to this day I miss the most.

100% regret selling my e46. Especially with the mods I had. Full AC Schnitzer inside and out. The silver carbon fiber interior trim was unheard of back then. Pics are from 20 years ago.
Daily driver: 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis with 361k km. Just drove through a blizzard and this is AFTER cleaning the car. Even had a bumper sticker made saying, ‘My other car is a Porsche GT3’.
