No B pillar is really nice for long legs, chassis of the SWB Sclass sedan so the back seat is large and easy to get in and out of, comfy with awesome massage seats and very fast..
Loved these things ever since my ‘05CL, these are out of production now so I got a 3000 mile CPO S63.
Its getting lowered and Panda’ed this week, so these are the before pics…
And you can’t argue the Germans have no sense of humor… 4800lbs LOL:
My niece just got her DL, after teaching her how to drive the last 6 months.
I’ll take her to a DE to polish up her driving skills a bit and I’ll report back at what corner, lap 1 the pedal goes to the floor 😂🤣
Added some front end protection to my DD, and went up in tire size.
Also painted my second DD (which actually rarely gets driven). House of Kolor Pearl White. Really looks pearl in the setting sun, so it's not captured that great in this pic.
What are the suspension/wheel/tire specs on the Raptor?
ADD UCA, LCA, and boxed spindles with HD tie rods. Sprung with Fox 3.0 internal bypass coil overs. Out back are National Springs, Fox 3.0 bypass shocks, and Fox air bumps. Feels kind of like a trophy truck or at least a luxo pre-runner with just bolt on parts instead of going crazy and back halfing the truck and doing full LT on the front.
Tires are 40x13.50r20 Maxxis Razor, and wheels are HRE TR106 in 20x10. I'd rather run a Toyo MT, but they don't make the 40" in 13.50 width for a 20" wheel. Love the way the HREs look, so not going to drop down to a 17" wheel although I've considered it just to get the Toyo MT. Maxxis is about the only 40x13.50r20 option out there. Mickey Thompson does a 40x14.50r20 that might clear, but I already slightly rub the front reservoirs at full lock on turns so going an inch wider would likely make it worse.
Enjoying the M2CS with its manual transmission and 406 lb. ft. Recently lowered for improved stance (aesthetics only), and will be installing aftermarket exhaust for improved sound. Even with new exhaust it will sound nothing like the RS with the Dundon set up.

With stock gearing? These trucks already get slower and brake worse going to 37's, can't imagine with 40's! Good for the mall though.
Keeping 35's on my '20, as it's plenty of clearance for most off road situations. Interested to drive a new one with the 37" package though as Ford made some good changes to fit those from the factory.

Not stock gearing. 5.13s and custom tune on a dyno from a local tuner. Big brake kit as well. It doesn't fit in the parking garage at the mall...
35s do fine for most. I just prefer to have something that looks unique, and it's fun to drive.
The new one on 37s might actually be a decent truck, but I prefer the '17-'20 front end. The Gen 3 look too similar to the standard F150, where as the Gen 2 are immediately recognizable from similar year F150s. To each his own though...
