My lap at Laguna Seca. Very slow after turn 5 to make the sound man happy.

A wet handling event put together by Porsche Club UAE at the Yas Marina wet handling area. Hope you enjoy the plethora of Launch Control, Paddle Neutral starts, and drifts galore.

Here's my incar at Thermal (north and south circuit) last Friday at the GMG track day. Looks slower then it was but still a lot of fun. That track is hard on brakes and easy on tires.... about 2500 miles and only my 2nd track day in this car (or in years)

My buddy down in Texas sent me this from this past weekend at Texas World Speedway.
He drives a spec Miata and gets passed at 2:02 by a GT3. Then it gets a little hairy.
I hope the GT3 didn't have much damage

I don't think he hit anything? I hope he just mowed the grass a little.

Car was more loaded than it appears I guess and caught the GT3 driver off guard?

Wow, that could have been bad if the grass had some dips!

Classic error of hurrying to get back on after putting two off. He was lucky the consequences weren't worse.

Passenger head cam view for a new perspective:

My tires were heat cycled and cording, so you can hear them squeal all the time, even though it's 1-1.1g at most (vs. typical 1.3). It's Thunderhill West - feels like a giant autocross track.

Also notice almost complete lack of buffeting. It's AWS triangles working.
