Wife supervising the third radiator installation. I took the opportunity to replace the water pump, belt, tensioner and pulley, thermostat, and replace coolant.

I replaced the cabin air filter yesterday. When I got the old filter out I noticed that there was a dried up leaf stuck in the farthest back corner. I grabbed it with my fingers and of course it crumbled. I thought I managed to get all of the pieces out but when I fired up the car it instantly had the "something in the fan" noise.

I took a short drive and was about to head home when the piece of debris magically cleared the fan. Yea!

My 2009 CS is primarily a track car. After every track event I inspect, measure and log brake wear and lately I've been staring at some nasty looking calipers. I haven't been having any troubles but decided to take some time yesterday and today to rebuild the calipers along with regular pad replacement and semi-annual brake fluid flush. I won't cringe so much now when I do my next post-event inspection.

Rebuilding brake calipers is one of the most satisfying maintenance items I’ve done on a P-car. These look great. We’ll done

Old and yellowed

Can’t even see the squeak strip but it is there
This has been on my to do list all year.

Forgot to update after I reinstalled the refreshed calipers and new lines/RBF600.

This week I pulled the calipers for fresh powdercoat and seals, new braided brake lines, spark plugs, and coils. The plugs suuuuucked--super long threads and really tight semi-galling. The rest of the job was a breeze though. Then a bit of opportunistic cleanup--ultrasonic bath and scrubbed the fender liners and heat shields, thorough cleaning, de-tarring, and waxing of the wheels.

I have the aftermarket aluminum pan and was going to do the PDK service but I want to drive it so that may wait a week or two.

I replaced all 9 speakers a couple months ago. It was a tough call to replace the nice PCM 3.0 head unit, but I'm installing a real subwoofer in the trunk and an amp and it just made more sense to install a nice android auto head unit instead of $600 on an interface module to get the Porsche unit to play nice with the rest of the system. So I hope to have that done this weekend.

I’m a day late, but went for a nice little 250 mile drive to the mountains yesterday. Stopped at a small town brewery and had some delicious food. Accompanied by my brother-in-law and his 69 Firebird.

Default Replaced the interior caprpet pieces

I realize Sand Beige interior is not everyone's first choice. I like it, a Classic Porsche interior.
I got my '05 March 2021 and the interior was 'pretty clean'. I scrubbed some areas and with new mats, it looked very good. The car spent near 10 years in Miami and the carpet was faded in areas.

Behind the seats

I picked up a complete interior carpet packed off eBay for $400. This was from an '08 and was in excellent shape and cold. See the differences.
It took nearly 4 hours to make the swap. Looking at it all in place, it's a much better color and shade overall than the old carpets. Wow, it's a new car. The heel pad in the driver area has no scrapes or discoloration.

Extremely Clean

Thats a nice end result! I too have a sand beige interior with faded carpet, particularly the rear deck carpet and subwoofer, I've been thinking about trying a "carpet dye" to try and match the original color (clearly visible difference under the sub).

Under my sub it was the worst yes. Very faded.
