987.2 are hard to find. Tell us about your new car.
Indeed. Just posted on another thread, been following 987.2 market for over a year everyday.
I found a 987.2 Cayman S 2011 just over 60k miles, white, black interior half leather half alcantara, perfect condition, not a scratch inside or outside, PPI came back super clean, service order is mint, bi-xenon lights, rear sensors, PCM with touchscreen and Navi, that funny AUX/Ipod/USB port, round steering wheel and most importantly MANUAL. Costed me the equivalent of just over 30,000 dollars.

Will post pictures soon
Sounds like a good deal to me ! Which thread did you post about the purchase in?

I agree, it is a good deal. I look forward to many miles ahead.
I just posted a similar content into another thread, I will open a proper introduction thread in the next days when I have a moment to stop and take some decent pictures!
You stole it. Have almost same car, for 10 years. 95k miles (I drive it) - I'd never let mine go for less than $40k.

Yes, it feels like a steal! I'm in Switzerland though, so it's a different market. I have been following the 2ndary market for the past 2 years and it did increase here but not as steeply as in the US.
Happy to hear you enjoyed 10 years with that sweet ride!

Great price! Wow - the Swiss market is quite different from the US. 987.2 S's with under 75k miles in the US are going from high $30's to mid $40's - most are on the higher end. Enjoy!

Thank you kindly. I'll share some pictures and an introduction in the appropriate thread as soon as I can get some good shots
Enlico, congrats on the purchase. As others have said, that is a steal.
I finally got back my console today after having it painted black while I was doing the Numeric shifter and cable install. I wanted to break up the teracotta interior a bit and I think it came out great. The Trim Shop in Newark DE did the sanding and painting for a very reasonable price. Console had some scratches and worn parts and he did a great job of smoothing everything out. Looks brand new now.
I am also kind of glad he took so long because it gave me more time to dial in the shifter position. I don't think anybody emphasizes enough how much of a difference the position can make to the shifting experience with the Numeric setup. I thought I was set twice but made small tweaks since it was still so easy to access and finally found my sweet spot.

DUde - what a stunning interior. Absolutely beautiful - The black makes it pop. More black would not hurt. Find a black shift **** or door panel? I never cared for the color flood Porsche does. Good example is red. RED EVERYTHING!. Ugh - when a little black would set it off so nice.

I could not agree more....... Driving the thing is priority ONE. Looks like you found a nice road there.
