Nice move! I see you also took the opportunity to downsize to an H6 from an H7.

This is one of the many things on my to-do list. Unfortunately, my current battery is still in good health!

Where did you buy the strut? If OEM, what's the part number?

Bought all items from SuncoastParts.com. Bit the bullet on the Porsche part P/N 987-512-551-05. Expensive, but I use it almost every time I drive.

I just ordered a Stabilus strut for mine from FCP Euro for $11.89. They are an OEM manufacturer, plus FCP Euro warranties it for life.

Doing my fronts today and am pretty stoked to get it done. Did the rears a couple weeks ago.

Yep, good eye! I went with the 30Ah version, which is only available in the H6 size. Smallest capacity for their H7 is 40Ah.

The battery on my 986 Boxster S went dead, so I took the opportunity to move the good AGM battery from the R into it. Have been wanting a lightweight battery for about 2 years so it worked out. Benefits of having 2 P cars I guess haha

LOL. after the second time around I bought an Atlas car lift. This time it was so easy to do with the car lift. Added the sprint booster and loving the performance of this amazing car. A well engineered car is easy to work on, way to go Porsche. The hardest part is trying to fit your body behind the seats without getting leg cramps or twisting an ankle/knee.
@starweb93 nice job! Which Atlas model did you go with? Would you get the same model if you did it over?

Yeah, that's the one I pulled off the car. Not sure where it came from, else I'd jump on the warranty. We'll see if the fancy Porsche one last more than 6 years

Over the holidays I found/lucked into/purchased for a very friendly price, a gently-used Borla catback exhaust.

Overall, it was VERY clean. I polished up the stainless parts a bit and it is ready to be installed this coming Thursday!

I replaced the dreaded CV Boot clamps.

My original oetiker 67's were loose enough to spin by hand. Got the belmetric new clamps, crimped in place, did the smaller ones too as they showed some minor leaking and movement as well

Finished installing my RS kit, mocked up the flares and canards, and took it out for a drive.

I absolutely LOVED the Borla on my 987.1 ...they have a distinctive sound compared to some other options. Enjoy!

i like Borla, had one on my C6 Corvette. Obviously, a V8 is going to sound different than a flat six, but Borla have a tone that I enjoy.
