Yeah I should take more pictures....

Unfortunately the weather here has been more suitable for a boat but I'll report on how it is once summer arrives.

Had a scratch on the leather door panel by the original owner. Finally got it removed by ColorGlo GTA.

Just checked in for my flight

Flying out to Oregon to pick up a nice 2007 S. Pick it up, and then enjoy a nice drive back to Northern California. Pictures when I get it!

My first Porsche. Very excited.

Thanks to these eyelash tweezers, I was able to pick up stuck rocks, leaves, and cigarette butts off the front grills... my car is not even lowered and I'm amazed the amount of things that got caught in there...

Ordered some colored crest center caps for my lobster forks from a forum member. A small, but great detail.

Installed some decals, and plastidipped the side vents black to see if I like it. I do, so I ordered some black ones.

Those paint guards are starting to yellow. Not sure how old they are. Have to see about peeling them off carefully and replacing. The front PPF should be replaced as well. Has a couple tears. But, it’s a daily driver so….

I’d like to replace the wheels soon-ish. I really like the 19” 5 spoke sport wheels on the 981.

i changed oil and sparkplugs (whew!). and will be installing numeric shifter on thursday. last week had the tire store swap out 19" turbo II wheels for 19" lobster forks. i also installed, IMO, the best visual update of them all on a 2007. added LED spars and removed the goggles...they were particularly obnoxious on my guards red car. oh... and because the windshield had a circular crack about 3/4" in diameter right in my line of vision i just had to have it replaced by the dealership. i thought for a while i could live with it.... i couldn't.

Beautiful car! From whom did you buy the decals?

On the yellowed "mutton chops" - on my 2010 car, they had become noticeably darker - to the point where I was thinking about replacing them. On a whim, I used a small amount of P21S Paintwork Cleanser on each. Problem solved!

I ordered the decals from renndecals.com. They are medium gray and black I believe.

Thanks for tip on the yellowing film. I was hesitant to try removing it. I have heard it’s possible for them to actually peel off paint when removing if they have been on there a long time.

I will look into the product you mentioned. Thanks!

29" wheels?! (I'm sure you meant 19")

Like the decals and black trim. I'm thinking of doing that on my Guards Red car.

Nah …..29” wheels are the in thing now!

Thanks - edited my post.

Im real happy with the decals. Good quality. Went on pretty easy. Gives some nice contrast to me. They can do custom color combos as well. I was tempted to go with some yellow or red.
