Took it for a drive with my 11 year old son, looking for a Cayman Matchbox car. He loves this car!

There are a few Cayman Hot Wheels out there, I have a blue 987. I don't think they really made a Boxster unfortunately. I'd love one.

My 11 year old loves coming out for drives, especially since I let him play DJ.

Swapped in a used Top Gear exhaust I got off a member. Sounds great, I even enjoy it with the valves closed.

I did my springtime oil and filter change. Also swapped out the cabin filter. Next weekend will (hopefully) be the thorough bath, polish and detail.

@jazztrip How do you like the Sebros so far? I was doing my HPDE checklist this past weekend and I'm just over 50% with a track day this coming Sunday. So I will be looking for new rotors on Monday

I like that the Sebros are slotted but looking for 1st hand report.

Started on my next project: sebro slotted rotors and new textar pads. Already encountered a hiccup: one of the new rear pads had the shim plate fall off during shipping...

@FlyinAg

What is your opinion of the Sebro slotted rotors so far?

I did the cables too ... absolutely glad I went for it.
Precision like I've not experienced before on the dozens of manual transmission cars I've owned.
It is like a rifle bolt that takes a few minutes to get used to.

  • Took my kids out for drives today in it. I use to be able to take all the kids out all at one time in the 928. But now it's separate drives for each one. It's a great excuse to drive and spend one on one time with them. Love starting the new memories with this car

Old race prep habit... put it up in the air and “nut and bolt” the car. Been awhile. Nice weather helps.
