It's lightly snowing across some of Kanto today, so home inside collating pics.
Here's some from a recent day at Sodegaura, and the Tokyo Bayside Classic Cup, where there's always an interesting selection of historics and modern cars.

We started the day under an overnight frost, but as the sun came up, it warmed and we had a clear run up Chiba-ken.
New H4s in the C4, likely to remain with their black rings exposed.

A gray weekend, with the threat of snow.
Too cold to work outside on the minka, so a drive on the heated seats of the Cayman, looking for new places to explore was recommended by my partner.

A property like ours, being slowly claimed by nature.
As the late afternoon snow started to fall, we stopped at a local game store, who catch shika (deer) and enoshishi (wild boar) from the local mountains.
Both are considered pests due to their excessive numbers - as local predators no longer exist - and both make a huge mess of our garden, with the enoshishi particularly dangerous as its digging erodes otherwise stable hills.
We liked their tough, game-recovery kei truck.
We also liked the lean enoshishi ribs.
Pulled pork fillet, and some shika to follow...

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, too many trips to Charlotte have exposed us to high expectations on BBQ.
I miss Taco Bill's / Diana's in Hermosa too for Mexican, but that's another story...
A local garage, that specializes in navi and drive recorders, but also does the sometimes damper and exhaust work, with a nice lift was available this morning to help fit a Carnewal GT muffler set.
That's real parquetry on the floor, not what I would have chosen for a garage, but its soft and quiet under foot, and possibly warm in winter too...
Japan is like that sometimes.
Some of the nastiest nuts I've had to deal with in a long time.
Teflon rust-penetrator, no heat, but a good thread brushing and a slowly increasing force broke all six free.
The old ones were rather nasty, so we replaced with a different type of locking nut.
Not sure if the tabs are the same strength as the off-round previous ones, but I will keep an eye on them and see how they last.
Rather than do a side at a time, we used a center stand, and undid the clamp brackets, header bolts, and lowered as one piece.
No need to remove the cross-stay.
Used (top), and less-used (bottom) muffler sets.
Tail-pipe (Soul x-pipe), and cross-piece carried over as is...
Looking dirty underneath with wet and muddy roads.
But new mufflers bolted up perfectly.
Gert from Carnewal suggests 160km are needed to fully bed in, so we did our best today, but only got to 80 or so, and over that time it started to bubble and pop and get a deeper growl to it too.
Summary, a thoroughly recommended change, and as someone else has already said, 'what Porsche should have done in the first place.'
It is certainly not a radical modification, and could be considered a more restrained option if you're wanting a bit more growl.
It is not outrageously loud (but louder than stock), has zero drone at any rpm, and provides a great high rpm difference, with the occasional pop and crackle on over-run.
Deeper at start-up and idle, and a much more metallic wail at higher rpm.
Not a bad thing, and its 1000x better than the wet sparrow farting sound it made stock...
