To answer your questions, the spoiler I believe is a copy of the Turbo S spoiler, yes. I purchased 7-ish years ago from a member here, and it arrived in a box with Carnewal shipping info on it. The part itself had the Porsche triangle stamp and a Porsche part number molded into it, which was slightly (and apparently intentionally) scuffed off prior to my receiving it. It fits the car like a glove, after a test fit and the drilling of some holes to line up with those in the batwing.
As for the ride quality on those MY02 wheels... tight! The wheels are pretty light and give the car a very "honest" feel of the road. But I also have a Brey-Krauss chassis brace AND an RSBarn strut brace installed in this car. (And the red one, too!) So that's certainly a contributing factor.

"honest feel of the road", I like that....

What shocks and springs are you riding on?
Passengers say my stock 968 coupe rides" firm, but not uncomfortably so". whatever that means?

Honesty can be a really good thing when it comes to cars, in my opinion. When I'm craving that authentic driving feel, I take out a 968 or my 996TT because they don't really have anything designed to pretend to be something it's masking.

Shocks and springs are OEM and, if I'm not mistaken, the ones she was born with.

What about any cowl shake with 18" wheels, or is that eliminated with the two braces.? I am also looking to keep my suspension standard for comfort, but increase rigidity with both under brace and shock tower brace, as well as M030 ARB's and fresh suspension and bushes. That way I hope to have a car that handles well, sit flat in the corners and feels tight but not crashy or overly hard suspended. I've got everything else, just need to find an under car brace..

Well, they're cabs, so they'll never be as torsionally rigid as their coupe siblings. But the chassis and tower braces make an undeniable difference. I was considering sourcing some M030 bits, also, but I've back-burnered this idea for now, perhaps forever. I'm selling the red one on 'Trader and prefer to keep the yellow one as reasonably close to factory as possible.

Hello everyone,
Returning member after several years absent.
Today, modified the 993 clear indicators to better match the recess profile.
Not perfect but I think an improvement.
Cheers

Definitely an improvement, an even though they are still not a 100% match they don't catch the eye now where as before it did.. Great idea..!

After fixing my top mechanism, this is my next area of interest. My lights have slightly jerky operation going up. I hope it's just a matter of adding some grease to the mechs.

replaced broken driver door latch, OMfG what a terrible job. I used advice from on here to try to fix it without removing rear glass guide.

Once i removed the glass, it took 15 minutes to insert the little bugger in the door handle.

In this case, you have the original Cup chin spoiler, not a repro.
These are still available , although pretty expensive.

I had to get my girlfriend to lubricate the pivot and mechanism as she has very slender hands and forearms..! But yes, my NS was a little squeaky..
