I'm out -- I recently killed the motor in the car I was thinking about putting this into (a 968 motor in a 944 body). It's time to reconsider my car project priorities.
Good luck with the product development! It looks fantastic.

Kevin - I have not done a hands-on S2 install yet, waiting for somebody to bring me one this fall so I can and take pictures.
John - if the 968 has been shown to gain from an after-market performance exhaust NA, then I would also expect an improvement after it is supercharged. It certainly will do no harm. Guessing what that improvement will be is very tricky...

At the risk of getting flamed by the racers in the crowd, can you tell me if the car is significantly noisier now?
I've heard some supercharger whine in other cars and don't find it too appealing. I'm guessing that under full throttle the character would be different since you are able to generate more power, but what about at a constant speed on the freeway. I tend to be more of a cruiser/GT guy, but I confess to lusting after more horses and torque...
Best,
Phil

The Raptor has a sweet little whine at idle. I can hear it , but the car is a Cabriolet and I have the top down - so I hear a lot. By the time I am at 2000 rpm as I accelerate, the normal sounds of the engine and exhaust totally drown it out and I cannot hear it anymore.
It is a new noise that you need to get used to, but that takes about an hour to get used to it as the "new normal" sound.
WANNA HEAR IT? Video available, hear it for yourself. Downlaod and play the 968 SC kit video on this page: http://www.928motorsports.com/productdemos.html

I'm looking at one of these kits for my 89 S2 with a 93 968 motor. Here in Colorado I lose more HP from being a mile high. It looks to me that every thing from the blower forward my be a problem. The hood latch and the ligt bar sit farther back than the 968. I would like know if this has been checked out?

I have been told that if it fits the 968 it also fits the 944 S2 - but no, like it says further up in this thread, nobody has brought me an S2 to test it on yet. I'm hoping someone does.
We have had a couple owners suggest they will bring me an S2 this fall, but that has not happened yet.
Otherwise, maybe I should limit my advertising to 968-only at this time.

Carl, the kit (as you sell it) will not fit an S2. I can tell by looking. You will definately need to change the intake/MAF setup, assuming the bottom of the turbo even clears the light bar assembly.

I have some shop space coming available in late October and November, so I could check out an S2 if someone would bring it here.
Some have said the distance from engine-to-radiator is shorter on an S2 (that would be a big problem) and others have said its the same and only the cold air intake would require changes.
