We've got so many lying around at this point...we might be able to find you one. May not have wheels. Or wheel bearings. Or even axle flange seals. Swaybars. End links. Tie rods...man...maybe we don't...crap I gotta back to work!

Today was a day of fun. Went up to Milford to hang out with Butzi at butzigear...who was being interviewed and shot for 911 and Porsche world magazine. Mat from the magazine was a ton of fun, talked Porsche's and shop, old stories and community all day. Great to see Butzi getting the accolades he's getting for all the hard work, and quite frankly...attitude. He has maybe the best attitude in the business. Great guys and a lot of fun...nice break from teardown madness...

But...it was raining...and you know, I drive my C4 everyday. Rain shine snow or otherwise. It's just my car. And I rarely change my wiper blades. Cuz, and you may not know this, since maybe it seems i throw a ton of money at my car...but I don't, and I'm cheep. Once a 964 is sorted, there really isn't need to do much more than drive and change fluids...and wiper blades.

But then - what's up with wiper blades. I try to find just the inserts, but can't seem to find them, and I'm stuck spending 15 dollars each for two crappy bosch 13 inch blades with the rack, when there is nothing wrong with the assembly itself and all I need is the insert. So I have changed my blades maybe three times in six years. Nd that's dumb, cuz I can see better in the rain with the wipers off. Drive faster and the rain beads off and done.

So, I went to Amazon and looked up inserts and bought a set of anco n-13-r blade inserts. They were 5 dollars for the set of two. Free shipping w prime. Had to buy some other stuff I needed anyway....had no idea if they would work.

Sure enough. They work as well as new bosch blades. Very subtly not as pretty. But I will be the only one that notices that. And you know, when i was driving home tonight, and it wasn't raining, but the nasty dirty highway water was covering my window, i wiped and I COULD SEE!
