That's what I was thinking. Price isn't too bad if the condition is consistent with the pics.

It's in great condition. I just don't have the room for hand-controls in it that I need.

Did you get the engine fan replaced?
That would be expensive, yes?

[QUOTE=pcarfan944;11934074]Someone from Pelican made the trip to Lux to view this white 964 C2. This is what they had to report:

When you go to their website and read the description of each car they all read exactly the same. All 1-2 owners cars bought from private collectors in amazing condition. Just copied and pasted from one description to the next.

I looked at this car over the weekend while I was in New York, I have to say LuxSport has some very nice clean original paint cars. This car was all original, had really nice sports seats. I would say the only problem areas with the car are the wheels appeared to be oxidized and need to be redone besides that everything looked straight and true and original on the car. I did not drive it but saw the car and looked at it thoroughly. They also have some nice 993 and other 964 coupes. Looks like a nice operation.

This LuxSport has something strange about them.

The white car still appears to have a problem with the PS speaker if you look at the pictures and then they have a 94 turbo S flachbau listed for $299,995 when they have two 94 base turbos at $249,995.

The turbo S should be double what they are asking and the turbo 3.6's have been for sale for a long time. I know of one that recently sold for $290k why aren't any of their cars moving?

I also become suspicious when they price everything $xx9,995.

Condition is all relative when talking cars of this vintage.

That's a pretty different opinion then the other fella who looked at it. Are we all talking about the same car?

Emailed him a while ago with no response. Reminds you of the good old days doesn't it?

The sad truth is, the seller is most likely browsing Travelocity booking a nice vacation while he watches the bids above his asking price flow into his email in between laughing at the last number on the original window sticker sitting on his desk.

Most likely this is a fake ad, you can tell by the distorted pictures. Also says he is original owner, yet the rear plate shows a mercedes dealer, and these pictures aren't from 1990... too many red flags and price just low enough to scam with guys on the look out for Porsches.

...just my 2 cents

Was posted a day ago and I imagine he got flooded with responses and probably sold already. Probably see it on a dealer site soon.
