Seems like a really good buy for the white C2. Reserve seems to be very close to the buy it now.

Very good point.
Red, yellow do that as well.

As ever, due diligence and a genuinely independent PPI are your friends.

Listing ended and will be up again for the fourth time prob next week. If something significant wasn't wrong with it it would have sold already.

This one almost looks too good to be true. If it is though it ought to be gone by now...

The guy is too lazy to even properly list the car. This is either a steal, or some kind of crazy risk.

Tried to buy this car 6 months ago. When I told him my buyer would be in town the next day and would have cash and take the car if as described he to,d me he already had a deposit.

Not even a good scammer. Or the car is a 89 and a 90 welded together.

Love the color.

I tried to convince my wife to buy it but she wants a cab, even after I 1) reminded her that she already has a cab (B7 A4) and 2) told her that all the cool kids drive Coupes. GLWS Sean.

Some people get sketched out when they hear stuff like "my buyer will be in town". Especially those not acclimated with fast paced Porsche market.

I recently called on a mint 5spd e39 sold by an older gentleman out-of-state, when I gave him the "I'll take it" after 5 minutes of chatting, I could tell it raised his hackles, and he gave me a runaround story why he couldn't do a deal.

Great buy if it's genuine and original. My gut when reading told me it's an owner who's out of touch with the market and too lazy to do his due diligence.

I reached out to him from the ad. I'll let you know if I hear anything back.

Someone from Pelican made the trip to Lux to view this white 964 C2. This is what they had to report:

In order to see the white 964 'Lance', sent us to his other premisses in New Hyde Park. It took us about 20 mins to get there and as we walked up to the car the motor was still pinging and warm to the touch from having been started. I guess Lance phoned ahead to have them prepare the car. It took a fairly cursory five minute look over to see that the paint is shabby, the interior is a mess, the hood shocks don't work, the car has several oil leaks, the rear lower valance is badly damaged, the car needs new sunroof and door seals, the PS speaker is hanging out of the door. there is no paperwork with the car, other than two stamps in the service book from 1990, it might be my eyesight but to my eye the front hood doesn't fit correctly. We didn't drive it, or put it on a lift, but I would take a really good look at anything offered by Lux and without doubt have a thorough PPI

If I can quote Lance from his ad describing the car we saw as being in ... "IMPECCIBLE CONDITION" ... yes you read that right, I think maybe its the French way to say Impeccable. French is probably appropriate here because the car certainly and Lance both have that je ne sais quoi

I'm sure everyone here knows, but just in case someone is googling Luxsport and Porsche you have been warned.
Yikes. Wasn't expecting that.
