@cobalt, I'm a jersey native and would love for your (or anyone's educated) opinion. @bweSteve I saw you watch Turbos as well. I have a deposit on the car but would love some input before I pull the trigger.

Car had a new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing and valve adjustment a few years ago. everything else looks to be original.

Leakdown test showed:

Cylinder 1: 120psi
Cylinder 2: 120psi
Cylinder 3: 120psi
Cylinder 4: 125psi
Cylinder 5: 120psi
Cylinder 6: 120psi

Again, apologies if in the wrong place. New to the forum.
I would need to see the car or at least some pictures. Recent sales on 3.3T's have been all over the place. 3.3 Turbos with similar miles have been between $100k and $130K. Some had sketchy past and all had some paintwork or issues needing to be addressed. This is a good range although if the car is very clean it might fetch more. Market is a bit soft although nice cars still bring premiums and we are coming into the winter months which is a bit softer than the early spring summer months.

Those are compression numbers. which are fine for a turbo (I suspect these were done cold) Was a leak down test performed? What is not too long ago? If it is more than 15k miles they are due again soon. I might be able to narrow it down more if I had more info although Steve is probably better versed in the 3.3 market than I am. If the car is in North Jersey I can try to take a look.

Test was done recently, and yes cold -- no more than 5%.

I can send over some photos privately if possible, just not sure how.

No way. Facebook ad..., man, no RL ad even?
I thought we were a helpful and friendly group.
Had it only a short time?
C2 or C4? Think it's a C4.

^^ I recognize the 964 on the doors from someone who posted here a while back. You might try going back a year or so in this thread and see if it shows up.

It's 9SIX4-C4
Had it only a short time, (hopefully staying with Porsche but) maybe going back to water-cooled?

There isn't such a 964 model what is tip and C4. C4 is always manual.

Someone here said they knew the car and it was a C4. Maybe it is a C2 but the ad says automatic trans: $72,000

i'm shocked as well. We've chatted via FB messenger and the Porsche 964 page on FB. His car is well documented but reading the comments he may pull it off the market.

To answer the question for those asking....In the comments it is a Manual and he mentioned he fat fingered it the description.
