Ok, I give up. What gave away the track time?

Rough looking interior.

LOL. I went through the pictures specifically trying to find what detective Anthony found. Couldn't find it.

^^^ Call it speculation, intuition or gut feeling on my part, or I could be mistaken, however. The only time I have seen driver tunnel carpet that worn is on heavily tracked cars or cars with close to 200k miles. I find it odd and have seen this before where the door cards and dash are all tired (in this case scratched) and the seats F&R, rear panels and steering wheel are not. It is missing the rear wiper and all 4 of the covers that hide the hardware for the rear seat belts. It is possible Sir Claws A Lot was selectively scratching only the parts we see. The other option is the seats and rear panels were stripped out of the car and most likely a das sport roll bar installed along with track seats for 6 point harness. I have seen numerous 3.3L turbos like this and in most all cases the cars were prior track rats dressed up to be sold or had more miles than the odo stated. I did say "if i were a betting man" I am not so i would look closely at this before proceeding. Something doesn't add up.

LOL

Why Pocono of course most of the wear is on the left and those NASCAR guys can't make right hand turns.

^^^ That is Keith Verlaque's car, chief driving instructor PCASDR and a great guy. Might be the only RSA I would want to own, it is in excellent shape and super rare.

Wow I wish I had known he was going to sell. I recall him mentioning it during conversations in the past but I didn’t think he was serious.

100-120k - I'd say that might be a little low.

I have Keith's contact info if anyone wants to know more about the car or offer outside of the auction. I emailed him "say it ain't so", I still can't believe it he loves that car and on a side note, started the RSA site here in the USA.

Thoughts as to why this didn’t bring more money??? Was it simply the high(ish) mileage??
