If the car checks out, this is a good deal, right?
1994 C4 Factory Widebody (polar silver - booo)
Full rebuild at 100k, currently 110k
3 owners - the last one for 15-20 years (not driving enough anymore)
Bunch of extras such as Ruf Suspension, extra wheels, GT3 seats, etc. Included in sale are all stock replaced items
~$50k
Thanks for any help!

I would say that's a great deal if it checks out.

. Polar Silver love that color. Smoking deal. I’ll trade you my 1990 GP White for it. 😁

I wish I liked the color, but I typically am not a fan of silver. I usually prefer non-metallic colors and you can't get much more "metallic" than silver. Still though, I will wait judgment until I see the car in person.

It can be frustrating.
But if you are a ready buyer, reach out to these brokers and let them know you're in the market.
Then you'll be on their list the next time one is available.
That, or start frequenting your local PCA events.
Lots of cars there, and owners who entertain selling cars that aren't listed for sale.

Dont give up. When i was searching i wouldn’t even wait for someone to post a for sale ad. I simply would ask if they would consider selling and how much.
Tarek sells porsches all the time. You should of told him you were interested if he were to sell. Be ready to buy when you approach... these cars go quick when listed at fair price. Good luck.

As many of the good people on this forum have told me....Don't give up hope. I too felt the same as I had been searching for years...During that time I found some which I either let slip away or was just apprehensive about purchasing out of state. Funny enough my car (which I had let slip away during my search) ended up with someone local to me. And they only kept for a very short time (1 month). It happened a close friend and fellow rennlister knew the seller and told me about it. The rest is history...

Abreau has a few, Holt has a few and so does Cherqued Flag in LA. Of course, they’re all asking top dollar prices, but if things keep up the way they have been, plus low production numbers as you mentioned, these will be six figure cars in a year or so. Especially clean, low mile well maintained cars. I spent six months looking until I found the right one and it just so happened to be right in my backyard.

Abreu Motors has 4 964s at the moment one is Polar Silver but Tip. I second that other comment. When you are a real buyer and have made a real offer the car does not get away unless the seller is not true. Tarek seems like a stand up guy. Call Fabie at Abreu, take a look at their website first and then take it from there. And the good 964 offerings are not plenty. All these cars need work after purchase just keep that in mind especially the '89-90s. I chose color combo over year and spec and could not be happier. Burning the pocket is just part of the enthusiasm for aircooled Pcars. Good luck in your search.

They have a red one too. On this white/green the mods and option code sticker newness look suspect. These guys are local to me but for some reason never did business with them. There is just something about the old saying: "Buy the seller not the car"... Don't loose hope, you will find her or should I say, she will find you.

997Pilot,

Curious on what exactly you are looking for? We have dealt and gone through so many 964s in different conditions so we have a very good idea what each Individual's expectation is after a short chat. We build them according to that expectation. Most of our inventory never see the open market. What we are doing is to share our vision & philosophy through the journey of bringing the car back to life with the new owner, from service, repair, modify or restore you name it.

Feel free to drop us an email if you want to discuss further.
