The Targa sold a little over a year ago, I almost pulled the trigger on it.

I agree with Tomato, nothing compares to the rush of tracking a bike. First time when I got my knee down as epic. At 53 I am not as limber as I used to be so its a lot of work moving myself around on a bike but its wicked fun.
Have to admit there is nothing like being on a bike, despite the consequences it may come with. Getting the knee down for the first time was not as fun as I was expecting, when I purposely tried to do it it wouldn't happen but when I forgot about it and got into a rhythm it became more regular, but initially kinda spooked me a bit due to the sound the vibration against your knee.

Tough call, I'l definitely have to see what to do. Won't lie that I would be kind of heartbroken if it ended up getting chopped up to something else so that is always in the back of my mind.

Usually hear the 1199 was a bit tough to set up so must be quite a rider to tame it on the track, perhaps we could have just swapped setups! Occasionally entertain the idea of a used Mercedes Metris as a daily/motovan

how much different do c4's feel over c2's? i know, less weight will always feel better if you want to toss the car around, but for a casual guy who might take it to the mountains, is it super pushy in the corners? i already have a track car, so i don't necessarily need every ounce of performance.

Likely posted before since everyone is looking at pelican, too- http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...hite-blue.html

It's not a coupe but how many 964s are in the '$26k make me an offer' range?...that aren't wrecked

No affiliation.

Should be able to part it out and make a profit at that price. The motor should cover at minimum 50% of the cost.

With a few modifications like, proper alignment, larger rear sway bar, etc., you can dial out much of the understeer. I think a properly setup C4 is very confidence inspiring and fun on the typical spirited drive. I haven't tracked my C4 so I can't speak to how it handles at the limit (or my limit). For me, C2 vs C4 was not as important as condition.

thanks, i'm not sure how to feel about it. with the price of these cars rising, i'm finding c4's to be a good compromise. i won't do a convertible though, its just not my thing. i could do a 4x4 if it still delivers the analog experience. i have a front engined, rear wheel drive track car, i just want to experience a more analog car with a different drivetrain.

The turbo in midnight looks great. My friend had midnight with blue carpets, tan seats and blue piping. Much nicer than all tan IMO. Seats are a bit tattered for the miles and it is a low optioned car. Hard to say if miles are accurate or not but a 3.6T for under $200k assuming no lurking history is a great buy.

Anyone have knowledge of this car? I originally thought it was the AutoKennel car - but it is not. It is a ROW car, but not much info on the car (mileage not indicated, cannot tell if it is sunroof delete). https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Even...2-COUPE-213374
