I was wondering the same! Is it the color?
It looks like a great car - I thought it would have sold in a week max.

your 2) is what bugs me the most.

It seems that RWBs are the ultimate "project is over -> I need a new project" byproducts.

Exactly, which is sad...If I could afford 20k to throw on a body kit I'd certainly drive it till the wheels fall off. Although, if it were being driven rather than being a garage queen...I think a "turbo-look (m491)" style widebody would be the best.

Vincent Wong has been in the auto aftermarket industry since I was a kid. I am highly confidant that much of that RWB build was done as promotional work for the shops that did it for the privilege of being involved in his SEMA build. I would assume what work he did pay for was a tax write off as a business expense. Then he sells his projects and while I have no insider info on this, I assume he makes money. This build is one of many I have seen from him in the past.

Doesn't change the end result. But his cars are usually really complete and nice. This actually looks like the 2nd RWB I've seen that is worth owning in my eyes. the first one was ekogles.

^ TWO RWB worth owning at 50% of the price
1. leh's
2. eli's
and only b/c leh and eli owned them before.
other RWB.... well i pay 5cents on every $100 spend. and i am being EXTREMELY generous on that offer.

I think the two I like the most would be these two below I prefer the narrow style kit versus the overly wide fenders you see on Marc Arsenal's and others'

ANYWAYS back on topic...sorry to derail....

1) Jon Sibal's...http://www.stevenhicksimagery.com/Jon-Sibals-RWB/

2) Nate's....http://www.speedhunters.com/2017/04/...an-rwb-reborn/

I think this is the one that belongs to that older dude who had cinematic build documentary on YouTube. Said something cheesy about RWB family and a "bespoke suit."
In addition to listing his RWB 964 for $170k, this guy is also selling his heavily modified 964 Turbo for nearly $200k.

The more people hate on the RWBs the more they grow on me
That gray Jon Sibal RWB looks cool IMHO.

Shaving rain gutters off a 964 (a la RUF and that blue turbo above), however, makes no sense to me. The rain gutter is one of the best features - prevents buffeting.

.

At least this is one of the more honest ads. Points out rust spots around the windscreen, says the four wheel drive system needs work and that the motor will eventually need a rebuild !
