I have a number of friends that flip cars and I see nothing wrong with it. They sometimes make money and others loose but there are carrying costs and in many cases money is dumped into the cars to make them sellable.
Lets all relax about flippers and get back to posting cars that are worth buying. A few grand here or there shouldn't be an issue and if it is the buyer can't afford to own one of these.

The remarks about flippers are getting old. I lived through years of people bashing the Michael Willhoit's of the world over on the 928 forum and now we see it here. This is a part of the market and there is no reason to bash these people. They serve a purpose and if you weren't quick enough or tried to get a great price lowered while someone else recognized the value in the car it is nobodies fault but your own.

How do you know a flipper got it? maybe it was a dealer..maybe if it was such a good deal & you wanted to make sure it went to Porsche Paradise you should have bought it yourself so that it doesn't hurt you and effect your life so much that i went to a FLIPPPPEERRRRR or a DEAAALEERRRR..

agree John & Anthony. I'm out. I will only look at the posts here that have a url link to a car. That's it.
This thread is designed to support those looking. I love looking. It's just a pastime.
All other nonsense will be glanced over.

It depends. Complete, running, good condition, verifiable low miles can bring big money. Mid to high teens. Missing parts, non verifiable miles needs work can be as low as $6-8k. These used to be about $3k for needs work and $10k for good running.

So much want, so little $$... Ruby/Black Turbo 55K Km.

Nice car but I have questions. I am not familiar with ROW cars but some things are obvious. Engine appears to have been rebuilt. The cad plating on the hardware is wrong. Engine sound pad replaced and clearly the car has been cleaned. Although all that work and the IC is a bit rough. The cooling fan has been cleaned but far from concours quality from what I see. Possibly a good candidate for someone willing to put the work in. I think the price is ambitious but if you want the color you don't have many to chose from.
Hope the seller gets his price.

Isn't it also missing the production date sticker in the door jamb, maybe a re spray?
