It's interesting you mention black door strikers as 993 parts. There are two '95 993's on the Holt website. One has a silver door striker and the other has a black door striker. My '94 C2 coupe, #279 6/93 build, has silver door strikers but the 2 button A/C controls and center glove box release. Maybe P used whatever door striker was on hand during this transition period.

These were 95's? I was working on a rare 94 993 a while back and it had the black striker plates. No doubt there was some bins building going on towards the end. Even the 928's as they got towards the last of the run you see things like black seat parts on tan seats when normally they were tan. No doubt whatever it took to get the cars out the door.

Definitely do your due diligence on this seller/flipper. I passed on one of the cars he contacted me about on my WTB ad.

Not sure if this one got posted: 91 C4 in Silver/Black for $46k, no mention on miles: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...271140913.html

Auto Kennel is a GREAT reseller/consigner. Paul is a true enthusiast.

Some math: low mile C2, remove sunroof, paint it a cool color...

Thing is Singer doesn't need this kind of car, because it will be fully disassembled and rebuilt from the ground up.

The car seems to have disappeared from the website, must have been to good to be true, the asking price of $114k certainly was! based on what we sold our '92 Slate Grey Japan 964 C2 Coupe for a couple of months ago.

Man prices are all over the place. I've been contemplating selling mine but I have no idea what to ask? Any thoughts? Just looking for a range.
1991 C4 Cab (I know)
79K miles
3.8L rebuild done at 73K miles - no leaks at all.
Body in good condition, certainly not perfect.
Brake job just done
New altenator
Lifters just adjusted.

The funky:
993 convertible top
993 RS wing
Bilstein shocks and springs
RS sway bars
Alpine stereo / BT, polk audio speakers, Alpine Amp, Rods footwell subs

My commentary on the $114k 35k mi "RoW" no sunroof C2 coupe was top to bottom sarcasm.

Yeah I'm still wondering why that car was so expensive.

You would think the dealer would throw some new tires on car, replace the fog light and rear tail lights for $114k ask. The engine isn't even original to the car. I'm lost on this one.
