Dallas Custom Steering Wheel (dallassteeringwheel.com) can do the same quality work.

It's too bad that's not a C4. I have a buyer for a good C4 foaming at the mouth. And I haven't found the right one yet. Yours as awd would have been perfect.

Out of curiosity, why isn't your buyer open to a C2?

Definitely. I have used them in the past and very pleased. Not for my Porsche in this case. Cost was $325 as I recall.

He's a C4 expert and prefers to work on them and drive them as he encourages people to drive them year round and lives in CT (New England).

Look up his thread and it will all make sense: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...n-madness.html

Driving them year round makes sense. Seems like it shouldn't be too hard to find a decent C4 if you are looking for a driver quality car.

Hold on hold on...we are half and half c4 and c2 over here...can't be pigeoned into a c4 corner...I do all for both types...

Yeah. For myself, I prefer the C4. It's my daily. Also set up properly and at equal weight, C4 is a better car, faster on a track and way more balanced and fun to drive (can't wait to hear the response to that statement)...

That said- I am not the guy who's looking to buy. I'm the guy the guy asked to help find him one...and he asked for a C4.

I'm also looking for a C2 for another guy, but that will be a special car and it'll come when it comes.

Btw. Saw a fantastic RS America w 70k miles today. No sunroof. Silver. Black interior w cloth fronts...all oem. Original motor mounts and original boge struts. Wow. Such a nice car to start with for "correction"

Are we playing fantasy C4 here? The only way that's ever going to happen is if you hold back on C2 and compare lightened C4 to standard C2.

Car just sold on NH craigslist for $30k, so there might be some flexibility in that price if guy is looking for a quick turnover.

Yes I'd like to know too! I have a C4 and I have a hard time believing it can out perform a C2 in areas other than rain/snow. I'm curious now...but maybe I'll search or start a new thread. Don't want to hijack this thread
