Unfortunately I haven't yet. The 964 C2 manual coupe market has been really dry this summer which I'm not surprised since most people are enjoying their cars. Hopefully as winter nears, the market will pick up when people realize they didn't drive their cars as much as they desired nor want to store them.

That's the beauty of living here; with a C2 you can drive year around with no problem if you wanted to. The thought of storing my car for the winter seems crazy (after having done it with other cars living in Chicago).

But hurry up and buy one and we can meet up and do a 964 drive.

lol @ the $118k bolt-ons C2. Even if it was a lot of two cars it's probably too much. People f'ing up the whole scene with their BS. Name dropping on their resume trying to Magnus Walker Jr. themselves to mark-up basic cars, lol.

I'm guessing this one sells pretty quick. Looks like a well taken care of car, except for the fake RS badge. When you say salty weather do you mean salting the roads in the winter? Hopefully they weren't driving it year round, but you never know.

Also, I didn't see any mention of the mileage. Pretty annoying when sellers don't include it in their ads.

It has been well taken care of from what the owner said but it needs a full service, a few oil leaks, and might need some significant engine work with it having 170k on it. It was driven in salty conditions as it was his year round daily driver in New York which means it was exposed to salty conditions for a long period of time and with the hot humid summers in NY, the salt can really go to work on the body. I'm passing on it but somebody else might see it as a good buy.

170k and most likely rust doesn't make it look as good of a deal. Good call to pass. Might be a good project at a lower price point depending on the rust situation.

I have a pretty good method of doing nationwide searches and when I find decent cars that I pass on, I tend to post them here. If it were in the upper 30's I'm sure somebody in the NY area could find it a great DD.

Well this one turned into a complete **** show. I'm sure most of the commentary will be deleted soon;

In any case, a good lesson in doing your due diligence before you buy...

I see a lot of flagged comments. Anyone got cliff notes to what went down?
