That is a great looking 964 and looks to be a good deal. The widebody cars are super rare and will be worth $$$ in 10 years. To me the blue interior is a big+ wish I had an extra 55k

It is CT944 and he bought it ~2 weeks ago.

Edit: CL listing now deleted.

Agreed and there is one less out there. My local Porsche salesman had a silver one as a DD and a lady t-boned him and totally destroyed/totalled the car. Such a shame.

The 94 widebody should be worth the same as the america roadster.. Low numbers, non turbo in a turbo body.

The america roadster is now fetching $70-80k while the 94 c4 is $60-70k.

I would love a 94 c4 but they are over my budget.

Asking prices are starting to get ridiculous. 1994 C2 76K miles Black/Black $70K

Being a 94 vs a 93 or 92 makes no difference and mileage is still too high. I hope he gets it although if he does my 60k mile 93 might have to go up for sale.

Is it just me or does the interior look wrong. As though it has been completely re dyed and not the correct shade of black? The seats and lower dash should match and they don't. The black used looks like the black used on the newer cars which is a grey black.

That price is insane, RSAs are looking like a bargain now. Agreed, it looks like the seats and steering wheel were recovered/redyed. They are indeed a different shade of black and look to have absolutely no wear for 76K miles. Same goes with the door cards, they look like they have two different shades of black.

$70k for a c2!! we're talking more than widebody 1994 C4 and RSA prices... even some 3.3. turbos are going for less.

This is completely ridiculous.

I think many are getting on the bandwagon and "dumping" their 964s seeing these crazy prices. We're seeing a ton of 3.3. turbos going on for sale now at as much as $120k.

People have been asking for insane prices on things forever, no matter what they are. They figure that the worst thing that can happen is it doesn't sell and then they can re-list it for a lower price. But if they get lucky and find the right (possibly dumb) buyer, then they hit the jackpot. There's no risk and nothing to lose, so why not try asking for a crazy high price? Problem is, it messes with the market which is bad for buyers. Bottom line is, keep the prices low until I get mine, then you can do whatever you want

I agree that 94 C2 manual coupe are low production numbers, so what? There was little change from 92 and less from 93. There were more 94 RSA's, again so what?
I agree that the interior color looks off but it could be the lighting/camera. Something to check at $70K.
I agree that the run up in prices is nutty.
Asking is not sale price so time will tell.
But most of all I am glad I got in before the loss of sanity!

This is the car that caused me to ask where value would be on a 94 c2 in this thread a few days ago. The seller reached out to one of my wtb posts. The price he offered me made me question if there was some crazy premium for 94s. However a red/tan with 62kmi was just offered at gr auto gallery for 43k. I believe it sold pretty quickly. And, GR picked it up from eBay just a few days prior; don't know what they paid original seller?

To clarify, it was a red/tan '94
