One accident listed on Carfax in 25 years I'd say better than most. As I read this ad, it's been up for less than a day. I'd say this car sells before the weekend with a clean PPI.

I'm running a PPI on that car this week as I'm very skeptical of it. The hood has a major misalignment and the bottom looks like its pretty rusty from the images. The sales staff seems very slimy too... They said everything works, I Face Timed them a few nights ago and the car wouldn't' start, they called back and jumped it, then the AC didn't work well. Also there is no service history...

Theft + accident + for sale at a third rate dealer... All of a sudden Victory and LuxSport don't look so bad.

If you're going to quote me (or anyone else for that matter) perhaps you should include the whole quote or at least the most important part

I have been to this dealer a couple of times. I was able to sneak back into the garage without anyone noticing. I did see a red Porsche targa in pieces that they eventually fixed up and sold for $25,000. They also had a really nice one owner 91 cab. This car sold in a couple of days. I was also interested in a white 1990 targa, however, they could not give me any detailed info about this car.
They have a crew that fixes up cars.

That's funny you say that. When I spoke to the salesman a few days ago he said he has a "crew" of mechanics that come twice a week to fix up cars and they did some maintenance on the 964. He said he had no documentation of the repairs or knowledge of what repairs were made but they "tuned it up"... those words made me feel sooooo much better about the car.

That was the most important part, a clean PPI still does not change the fact that the car was stolen and involved in an accident. If that's your cup of tea, knock yourself out but it is definitely not "better than most".

I spoke to them about the red Targa and I know what you mean, hence why I put them in the same bag as the other two nitwits. SKIP!

To add to the mix here, I'm currently quite PO'd at these guys at Windy City motorsports.

I called this AM and struck a deal with Dan and gave a $500 deposit via CC, and then arranged for a PPI.

I then called at 4:30 and he tells me another guy from CA also wants the car and that he did not actually run my card. Sounds like the owner is trying to start a bidding war after telling me the car was mine and making me think I had a deposit on it.

Slimy!

WTF!? I'm so mad

They really lost me when they had an 84 Lotus turbo for $19,000. After three days of pilling up a huge watch count on ebay they raised the price to $24,000.
