Aren't they thick as turbo but with the same length as C2?

Naturally with these on the car it will look more like a C4 Lightweight than RS which will also suit the original flag mirrors I guess?

Makes a nice change I reckon, I always like D90's anyway

The RS shafts are hollow, allowing air to vent from the centre of the joints when the shafts get hot running at high load on track.

The hub nuts are paired on the RS, having a thinner locknut on the outside clamping down onto the tapered outer of the thicker inner nut. The torque of the inner nut is the same as stock, the outer locknut is much less.

More a financial decision at the moment rather than visual choice, however I have always liked D90's on a 964.

Realistically speaking what do you think the cost would be to convert c4 into c2? I'm looking at picking up a 964 and seems like I am finding c4's.

I'd guess the cost of a G50 transmission and some other random bits (axles, shift linkages, crossmember mount, etc.), plus labor.

We should be carrying out the C2 conversion sometime in the next couple of weeks, I'll post details and likely costs when it's done.

A few potential horror stories found underneath, including corroded 4wd hydraulics and the worst condition clutch flexible pipe that I could possibly be still holding fluid. How this one slipped by the last few specialist inspection services is beyond me.

The front hub nuts have been removed ready to pull the diff and front driveshafts, discs are in decent condition but will be replaced with larger in due course. Front & rear ARB and droplinks will also be found in the spares bin soon.

Differential coming out late this afternoon. It put up a fight when the over-tightened drive shaft bolts rounded off and needed the intervention of a hammer and chisel to remove them but fortunately Robin managed to miss his thumb, hit the chisel and out they came ....
