As much as the Frunk tank looks cool, wouldn't it be a pain in the *** filling it up? Hose dragging on the fender and all? Coupled with the states that are super **** about gas attendants doing the work.

I was wondering how exactly you knew that.... and just connected the dots when I saw your "boba" user post over at early911s.

Also didn't realize it was your car in the oil tank shot above (and post #516/17) with the funk lid headlights. Awesome mods, please create a thread with your thoughts when the car is done. I wish Zuff was just a little closer to me, as I'd love to see their shop, especially while your car is there.

Had to post this pic from early911s as I'm obsessed with the idea of changing the engine grill to the earlier style grill. I know there are other RLers that want a grill like this, maybe Zuff would make a small run of these now that they have the experience?

You went the extra mile and chose a split grill design. Very nice. Is the spoiler still active?

As you saw there were some other changes posted on the Early S thread. Not all the changes were revealed but they will in time. The decklid does not retain the pop up spoiler. It's just old SWB stuff, which was the homage the 993 was pulling forward.

There's over fifty years of history to pull from!

Not a 964 shell, but could be...
Definitely an easier style to backdate to on a 964, than a Longhood.

This looks really nice, simple and lightweight!
One day I will own something like this (with a 3.8 please):

I think the owner had a build thread on pelican, might be worth a search if you want more pics

I noticed turbo thomas is doing 964 backdate exhausts now:

Link, for it didn't happen.

While looking for the white car, I found this...

A 964 "highwater" backdate. Good looking from a distance, but you can see how difficult it is to get the front "right" and the exhaust "tucked" in the back.

Sold on Pelican in 2011
Time for a new project. What should this backdated 1990 964 sell for?
80k Miles (+/-5K since a top-end rebuild)
LSD Trans
Bilstein PSS9
Fenders and bumpers FG, hood is steel
GTS Sport seat
Zuffenhaus "Fuchs"

I had a quick search but couldnt find it I'm afraid, cant even remember the title or many details but I do remember him getting some grief for those rear flares!

I'll drop a link in here if I ever re-discover it.
