London 964 Spa Francorchamps Weekend 2013 - The Sequel

Great stuff Can you all bring a hairdryer in case the paint hasn't set.
Frank - Given a 'false' deadline to the bodyshop so should be OK. I will check tomorrow to see what their forecast is and without messing them about see what the options are. On the plus side the fan blades have been painted and the pulleys are being polished which need to go back in.
So the steamer no longer boards the ferry? Things have changed with these new fangled trains.

Hi - Yes, all booked for Oulton, will probably be out the back of the garage near Steve and Kevin.
Anyone coming as passengers are welcome to pester the Mint green NGT for rides (either myself or my friend Oliver will be driving).

Just a brief note from me, haven't been on here for a while. (Except lurking)
My 964 will not be ready for Spa, despite my best efforts, but will be at Oulton with my other 964, which I never intended to use for track days, but I don't fancy using my 996 cabrio again, as it won't be a new experience.
I am hoping to share my mate Chiefs 964 (off 911UK) but worried about the noise levels. I bought a decibel devil today and knocked the sound down from about 112 to 107, so it's a bit noisy. However I'm hoping we can use it, otherwise I will have a play in my 964 C4, but won't be wringing the neck out of it.
I've booked a garage, happy to share it.

just quietly...........injecting some "man maths" into this........assume 40 cars coming......average "prep spend" @ £4k (assuming some way under but the odd "outlier"....we wont name names ;P)....so thats £160k for all cars to get ready for this shindig!
Conclusion: if I ever float another random idea on this forum ever again shoot me down in flames LOL!!!!!!

Update:
Under the 'Channel Crossing' section I've added addresses for getting to Folkestone & Calais.
Under the 'Accomodation' section I've added the hotel address for those staying at Saint Hubert.
This is a good point. Is it worth just meeting at the departure car park? At least that way no one will get lost between the services and the train station - considering numbers.

Pretty busy most of the way as well, but it was pretty straightforward, just a minor diversion for some of us en route when we took the wrong slip road
