PS: can you send me who you got that insurance cover with please.

I've just bought cover for Ring public day and Spa and recovery for £340. Car valued at £23,000 (just to be safe!) with £2,000 excess.

+1 on the update Frank....

I've got a pax so I'm a +1, just for the record!

My pax found personal travel insuance through this place (no affiliation) if anyone is still looking......

The dates are 99.9% confirmed for Spa. Best price is as follows -no VAT payable

1 day - £250
2 days - £450

Jonny can also throw in a few F1 garage for every 5 cars booked as part of our group. Supposed to be huge.

If no objections I will let him know we are going to lock it in and I will set up an account/name we can book under.
Getting close now, confirmation e mails all received from BAT

Nothing on the garage list showing for our group though

Should have 2 at least I think, no?

Andrew and myself are just checking into the garage situation as we're not on the list that BaT have just e-mailed us all. Hopefully we should have two free for us on Saturday. Not sure I can get a free one for Sunday seeing as there are only three of us but if not, I'll book one for us under my account.

Nice one Steve, let me know if you manage to get one for Sunday and what we owe ya (I guess a 1/3 each of £100?).

Guys - have in email from 10/11/11 the following - chased off back of this email tonight as well. Not happy but seem to be 5 free on the sat from that pdf....we will be getting 2-3 of those thanks

That’s the best price we can offer unfortunately Andrew. However, i’d be willing to offer a free F1 pit garage for each 5 bookings (ie 2 garages for 10 bookings). Usually £100 each. Don’t know if you’ve used the F1 garages before but they’re massive and can easily fit 5 cars in.

Kind regards,

Garages now sorted.

Jonny has been good to his words (he just forgot about it because it was a long time ago that we booked) and has given us garages 7 and 8 free on both days.

We'll need to let Ian and the VXR8/Monaro boys have one on Saturday....I suggest 8 for the V8s and lucky 7 for us. On Sunday we get them all to ourselves.

Good luck with the trip everyone ! Weather is good out there at the moment and should hold till Monday.
Look forward to seeing some video of Eau Rouge Steve !
Just take care dialling in to the track , you can reach around 150mph on the Kemmel straight and will be in 5th gear for most of it . Instruction recommended
