^^^ Crazy!
In 2008 at the Watkins Glen PCA race there was a yellow 993 Cup for sale by the garage for $75K.

Don't we all wish we had a time machine? Posting this here for posterity and will do the same on the 964 Targa thread. This car is currently being offered for sale by a dealer. VIN WP0BB2960RS440064. I have no affiliation with the dealer. However, I owned the car for about a year and did all the recent work to it. I currently have no affiliation with the car either.

If anyone is seriously looking at it, feel free to PM me and I can give you a snapshot of what was done to the car during my tenure with it. I also have relevant paperwork that will happily mail to the new owner after purchase, so just PM me for that as well after purchase only.

Good luck!

Hello, renlist. I'm trying to figure out the value on a tip, cabriolet that needs a little work, however, runs good. The market is all over the place. I know this is the least desirable model, any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not a dealer. Thanks, Jon.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "needs a little work"?
What is the liquid that we see on the pavement under the front end of the car?

If it were me, I would take it to a trusted Porsche mechanic and have it checked over, preferably with an engine compression check.

Sorry off topic but in regards to all the "what if" from an advertising 20 years ago.

If you had invested US$10,000 in Apple stock 20 years ago it would be worth US$5M today.

You could buy all of those Porsches at today's prices and still have change left over.

this C2 brought very good money today on BaT considering 'plain jane' looks and 59k miles.

Ha! Same. Started using them in 1993 in college for graphic design. Way before they were "cool".

back then, we were paying way too much money (and it was a lot of money) for a computer that you could not modify or build to your own specs that simply limited what you could do. without Adobe, who knows how that story goes. it was all about the software.

'plug it in and use it' was not something people considered of value yet. it was much cooler to 'hot rod' a pc.

One of the strangest most unique 964 RS’ I’ve ever seen.
