964 Prices
#2116
Just not seeing actual sales or cars on offer going for that Singer $105 number (unless PTS). Plenty on the market for 65 to 85k's all over the world (Europe).
Excellence Magazines buyers guide shows plain Carrera 4's like the one I'm looking at going for under $70k.
Those PTS cars are getting surreal prices on BAT... But there is zero chance I will buy a car on BAT as its success has brought in a bunch of unscrupulous sellers.
When I see those super saturated photos I run for the hills.

Depending on what condition you want your car to be expect more. The old formula was whatever the market rate is fo a good clean car expect to be into any 964 for that money no matter the buy in. So if the market is $120k and you find an $80k 964 expect to drop another $40k easily into it. Prices on parts and work have gone as crazy as the market. My simple engine overhaul with me doing the work and getting parts at close to wholesale is costing me $5k easily. This would have been under $2k a few years back. If I paid someone figure closer to $10k. Every BaT sale I see needs at least 50-60 hours of TLC off the bat. I see a lot of them. This last one put the car at least $100k over market value when the owner is done.

I’ve been looking for a 964 coupe for a while now. I have missed a few nice ones in the last year for 70s to 90s. 100s seem to be special cars for one reason or another. 110-130 will buy one that has been fully “sorted”. Personally I’d rather buy a nice straight car in a basic color that needs a few things (70-90) and fix it right and how I’d like it! I expect to drop 10-20k right off the bat no matter the condition. I’m not looking for a perfect car. I see some 964s in the 100s on Autotrader/CarGurus that have been sitting for a looooong time. This being said there aren’t a lot of 964 manual coups out there on the market. Just my 2 cents

This RoW RS just popped up for sale. Based on this previous listing from a couple months ago the car doesn’t sound or look great. Buyer beware

I wonder if they actually sell any cars? I still see them parading around the yellow turbo and mint green AR and nobody is buying. The prices they are asking for those are laughable. They were at the Bridge and recently at Amelia. How long before they drop prices?
