I wonder if there is an off the shelf way to replace the entire boot rather than use the zip tie. It looks a bit reminiscent of a male barnyard animal just hanging there.

This looks really intriguing, I have the Rothsport with the Golden Rod that I installed last year. What’s comparable to the Rothsport in terms of throw? I’m seeing short shift and longer throw options with Numeric. What would be the difference of the two options vs Rothsport? I like the set up of what I have but admittedly make deliberate gear changes because I want to make sure I’m not doing a miss shift at speed. It feels great vs stock but always interested in something better. Thanks.

I guess just to wait? We won't really know until everyone installed theirs including me and I won't mind you driving my car to feel the difference

Good point. I was thinking they had been out and getting installed. Missed that part. Definitely looking forward to feedback once they get out and people get experience with it. Thanks.

I ordered a few extra sets of these solid plugs. If you need a pair just PM me, and I will drop them in the mail.

I got my plugs and thought the rubber was too hard and the gap too narrow to easily install. I've ordered a different style from an eBay seller. I contacted the seller and asked if it was a fairly soft rubber and they responded that it was. They shipped today. I'll report when I see them.

There is some dialogue about this earlier in the thread. My $0.02 is to go for it.

Just received a notification of shipment from Numeric. Should see it this week.
What shift ***** are some of you looking at for this short-shifter? I've been trying to contact Function First to purchase their Delrin shift **** assembly. I've had no response from them. I went ahead and ordered from them. They dinged my card, but no response. I've looked at Black Forrest shift *****, but I'm not crazy about their crest, I'd prefer no logo. Even their shift **** with the shift pattern includes their logo--which is not what I'm looking for. Any ideas?
