Superbe simplistic design for the air distribution system, excellent work. Keep those files
close, we might want to buy one of these from you!
Just a thought: you might want to make a depression with a drain location and tube in the ducting so that water entering (even just washing the car) doesn't drown your motor and enter the car. A look at early 911 hvac ducting gives a good idea of this.
I look forward to next episode. Cutting perfect fenders is good fun.

I’ll fix that for the version 1.1 ;-)
Thanks for the feedback!

Great work Jonte, you decided to keep flanges in the right areas and good call keeping the original taillight bucket. How do your doors line up to the quarters as they are now?
You must have spent hours just staring at the car in your garage after receiving it's new hips. It's a big moment, no turning back. Been there done that my previous 77 and will be doing it again to my 993.

I still have a lot of work with the door themselves. I might change them actually as they’re not a good fit. I bought them second hand and for a steal...
And yes, there has been a lot of looking going on at the new hips ;-)

One of the most helpful things about this project is realizing where major weight losses can and can't be found.
I would have anticipated a much larger change from going to carbon fiber body panels and it's great that you're putting the real info out there.
