^^^ that's going next level.

If you REALLY wanted to be baller you'd get a motec PDM setup and remove the majority of the wiring with 2-3 simple power boxes and CAN cables between them :-)
Just cry when you see prices!
This is what race cars use, there are some guys using them on their hot rod builds, makes for an amazingly clean install. Basically an ECU, a power module in front and rear and engine, and that module basically has a power cable and CAN bus cable, and then the wiring from there.

Take a look at what Andrew has done on his 911:

I’ve not ordered mine yet but I’m going PDM for sure. Just uploading episode 166 now where you can see why ;-)

I pulled weight off my 964 anywhere I could think of. Down to 2640 lbs keeping a/c, radio and sunroof. Still some more I could remove but for now I'll just keep it like that. I can definitely feel the difference

I love how these cars are put together. It’s also fun to see how they developed over the years. When I compare my -76 to my -90 they are surprisingly similar and different at the same time.

this is when you round off the edges on the block beams under the cylinders. It improves air flow due to pumping action between the cylinders to reduce parasitic loss.

I’ll show more about this in a later video as I check the engine.

Me too. Makes me really want to tear apart (someone else’s 964).

Really good job communicating your thought process, making it fun to follow along. Plus, it’s honest too, you show your mistakes. We’re all rooting for you. Post on RL Facebook if you haven’t already, this series deserves a larger audience.
