I've seen time and time again on here that water:Prestone 1:1 ~ 2:1 is fine. I thought it was aluminum safe, which is the big concern. Is this not correct??

I used prestone 50/50 what's the issue my there was no corrosion or pitting in my head, I believe regular coolant will be fine as long as it doesn't have sulfuric acid on it.

Hopefully they will stand by there work
That means all blocks prepped by them are done wrong.

Cylinder has to be polished before the final AN-30 step.

that's what I to them, in the photos you can clearly see cross hatching! They said you can't tell from photos! I keep finding more things wrong with the motor. He said he inspected the cylinders before he assembled and they were done proper

ummm yeah i know. As long as it's Phosphate free anti-freeze due to corrosion. And yes you should always use distilled water if you need to mix.

Good luck man - sincerely.

I had issues with another well-known vendor a few years ago and got attorneys involved. In the end, it wasn't worth the attorney $$$ to actually get everything undone and me made whole. Took a big loss, sold off what I could, and moved on.

Nobody is perfect, vendors or otherwise. It's how they handle mistakes that make the difference. I hope in the end LR comes through for you.

There is nothing wrong with that cross-hatching...

if you are driving a chevy...

They screwed up your build. the evidence is really clear on this one. Good Luck. I hope they know how many people are watching this situation to see how they resolve it.
