Disaster. That crosshatch shouldn't be there. They used the wrong kind of cutting stones. Same mistake my machine shop did, but they admitted that it was their error and paid for new block without any problem.

Should look more like this, but after AN-30 procedure even this is almos entirely gone.

Hard to believe they are in business that long and don't know how to prepare a block.

They are still claiming break-in error with the new evidence?

Wow.. REALLY bad customer service if they are still denying after seeing those images. I'll never buy anything from them again. What a joke. Sorry. I'm having a hard time believing this and it isnt even my motor.

You think I want to make this up ! Spent a nice Penny on this motor! I hope they warranty this issue or refund me some of the money back! Car is getting a 3.0l now since the bores are messed up I'm sleeving it! Hopefully they stand by there work we will see. But some of this is pure amateur work

A cooling line hit the alt and tore a hole in it ... That was me with the green coolant ... I was told it would be fine long as it's 100percent ... I can't blame them for everything now

They told me the process, they send it out to get done and said all blocks have some cross hatching, as you can see in the photos it looks like my missed one step, they also offered me new Pistons and block to fix the issue, I told them it is getting sleeved and what about the cost of the rebuild and to rnr the motor a second time, I will send them a list of what went bad and how much it will be to fix. Hopefully they will stand by there work

Are you saying you used 100% glycol in your cooling system?
