How much RPM do you think the engine could take? considering oiling and bearings with the added stroke.

Shawn, with regards to running the stock intake do you have a way of measuring individual cylinders?

Just an opinion but I think it would be fine to 7K with the lighter internals and the better rod bearings but until we have a definite solution to oil pump cavitation I have no plans to run over the stock redline.

Egt or mix. On the basis that the stock intake is reputed to have imbalance between the cylinders, just wondering if you have found anything &/or been able to trim individually?

Some have flow tested the stock intake and not found a significant imbalance, Michael Mount for one. I have not personally had it flow tested. My plugs do look very consistant as I have checked them several times. I have purchased individual EGT probes that I will be installing in the near future. No individual trim at this point.

Good to hear. I'm stuck with stock intake for now. Always nice to hear people with similar setups and good symptoms.

Took the 951 out to Caffeine and Octane this morning. Great time hangin out with Brad (ilikemy944) and his wife. The place was packed, definitely over 500 cars. Talked to some engineering students from Southern Poly about the intake on their ASME Kart. The intake was 3D printed (SLA). It would be cool to do something like this for the 951.

Over fifty 1 bar tuning pulls and the motor has been rock solid with no issues. Been driving it every night for the last couple of weeks. About 1800 miles on the motor. Planning on the dyno this Thursday. Hopefully I can get a couple 21-22 psi runs Pretty cool picture a lister took of my car Saturday night at the GA/FL 944 Meet.

Here's an explanation of SLA. (No personal experience with it here, just also very interested in a much lighter, more improved intake).
