Let's see the video.

What injectors/pressure do you run to spray that much e85?

I have Josh's injectors running just a tick over 3 bar. Looking at the IDC I'm at around 85-90%, However, Josh showed me the flow sheet and these injectors ramp up really nice at the top limit so I have a slight amount of room left. I like that they ramp up rather than fall off, so it actually richens up before running out. We are going to do something different really soon, so I can crank it up a little more.

Josh will have to post the video..

Camera-phone video:

Also, just for reference, there was a 997 Carrera GTS w/ PDK at the track. He was very consistent: 13.9-14.1 @ 101mph:

Looks like a blast -- wish we had a drag strip in the bay area.

How much hp/tq are you running at those numbers?

Just drive it to the closest track .. This track is about 40 miles from where I live.

By my very conservative estimation (using my trap speed calculator) I'm at 420 ish true rwhp. This generally equates out to about 25-30% less than dyno readings. The torque is probably around 470-490 I'd venture..

I am at a stagnate now though with this head or the turbine housing, I'm not sure which. I have to take some time and figure it out...But hell, racing is soi much more fun

Get some tires What size do you need? Great run tonight, wish you could have lined up with the GTS.

Josh, what was lined up with the GTS?

Nice videos. Very impressive.

Sid, how many total runs would you estimate you have made with the stroker motor to this point? What psi are you currently running? 18 psi?

Jonathan, lining up with the other Porsche would have been a waste and truly embarrassing for him. He was having fun though so I'm glad he was there.

I need some small drag slicks I think like 26x8x15. But more than that I need $$ lol.

I'll find some used ones or maybe pony up for new ones.

Shawn, I'd say between 60-70 passes so far. More impressive to me is that I have driven it EVERY DAY since getting it running. It's a success to me.

Yes 18

I still waiting for 11.9 et...hehehe. Seriously Sid before we know it, I'll be the first to say, you will be on tube frame, skinny front tires with a NHRA certified parachute out back. Having it as a DD is a true testament to reliability...keep it up man. Can you run 295s...I got a set I can donate in the name of continuous test and tune.

Nope been there done that years ago, if I can't drive it daily...I don't want it. I am hoping I'll need a chute next year, needed at 135 (won't install one though)

If the 295's are sticky and fit 17's I might be intersted
