However, I am going to use the spare wheels I have to put some 245 60 15DR's (maybe 26x8.5 slicks) on. I'd like to reduce the gear just a little
Well, if you can pull 1.6's thats getting into EVO etc territory... nothing wrong with that at all.

They are 18's

FWIW, an 11" wide wheel will fit a 315 quite well. Also, I've heard before that they won't fit a late offset 951, but Eric (AZBanks) has these wheels with 295's on an S2 cab, so it must be possible.

Anyway, I don't want to hijack this thread... I want to hear more about this engine!

I've been busy moving so I havnt raced it the last couple weeks. Plus it's been really hot outside.

I have been driving it every day...

How much clearance did you put between piston/valve for non-interference?

Has your 16 year old managed to get the grin off of his face yet?

He keeps asking to borrow it. I keep saying no .

He had a flat yesterday so he got lucky. I'll probably let him drive it a bit more though. He's a good kid, so he deserves to have fun too. Plus if I keep saying no he'll probably kick my butt.

Hopefully with all this cooler weather we might see a decent DA this week. Assuming it doesn't get rained out and humidity stays low.

Hopefully Jordan doesn't figure out he can make his car quite fast for cheap and he wouldn't need to drive yours. lol

Back to the track tonight. First pass 12.5 at 115 at 13.8 psi.

Next run went almost my record with at 12.41 at almost 116 with a 20 mph headwind. 16 psi on the map.

Sitting in the lanes now waiting and I'm gonna crank it up a little....

There is an earl na up here running mid 18's for comparison and a Lamborghini galllardo running 14.5 at 104
