I have used it.The video posted was not realy anti lag. Just a two step. I have a really good anti lag setup now that works even when the turbo is dead cold.

I tried it one run that night and it didn't work too well as this clutch holds very well, and it bogged severly. I aborted the run. I didnt use it again because I just needed the car to run good and it was busy. I will have to play with it a bit and run it up high on boost or set the rpm higher.

Sid - I like the new stance from the vid. Did you updated to wider wheels and tires? What are the specs on those? Looks menacing- me like!

Glad you like it. It's pretty stocky looking.

I'm not totally find if it. It's the twists with 245-45-17 and the rears are way to wide for the wheels at 315mm. I need an extra set.

I've got some 996 turbo twists.... 11" in the rear... Up for some horse trading?

Hang on Sid...are you running 315s on your car??

Also, ott, but have you run into any issues with the stock intake on your builds over the years?

Patrick, sorry. I meant to respond earlier to that. I have added a little deflector right behind the cable boss. It seemed to equal out #4 egt.

If had this done for quite some time now.

Yes I have the 315 drag radials on it right now. I used them for a short time last year at the end. I have to run the spring plates up a but so they don't rub. I just couldn't deal with the tire spin anymore. It was hard to launch with the new engine. I might try my 285's using the anti lag at lower settings. That worked well last year on regular tires for consistent 2.0 sixty foots. This engine and clutch are much harder to deal with.

I might be. Are they 17's? I'll message you.

Those twists are 18s and will fit nicely with 285s....oh, wait, you have an 87 chassis with the late offset so the rears may not fit- you'd need an offset of +55 or more to fit 285s comfortably.

So did you measure some egt imbalances previously and if so, how. Assuming a single sensor wouldn't identify which cylinder/s are out so did you run all 4 off the headers? You still running stock headers?

I would think you may do better with a 15" rear rim and a proper drag tyre to allow for crumple of the wall etc? The 18" tyres, even drag radials, just dont work as well as the high tyre wall drags.

Patrick, over time I had ran my probe on each cylinder and #4 always seemed a little higher. Dave McGrath told me about this trick and it seems to work ok.

It might, to be very honest though. these 17's work very well when heated. I have ran a 1.6 sixty foot in the past. I have ran many 1.7's. I'll get there again I just need to practice.

However, I am going to use the spare wheels I have to put some 245 60 15DR's (maybe 26x8.5 slicks) on. I'd like to reduce the gear just a little

Yeah I would think antilag only really works if you have launch control setup well...
