AWESOMEEEE!!!!
He has over 300 hp for nearly 2200 rpms and over 400 for around 2000, sounds good to me!
Can not beat the sound of a T5 though, drooooolllll

Do we know what boost levels this was done on? So torque measured in Nms doesn't crossover the hp curve at the same place as ft/lbs?

Have been to the gatebil project website and read the whole thread of this project with exitement.
All I can say - wow, very, very cool stuff and a high degree of craftsmenship involved.
Concerning the 50/50 weight balance I wouldn't worry to much.
If you take a closer look you'll see that the engine is almost about 2/3 behind the front axle and this very large and massive supra gearbox is very close to the center of gravity of the car. Supra rear axle differental looks also quite heavy. I would assume that the weight balance right now is between 60/40 and 55/45 which is quite fine in every aspect given a proper suspension setting.
Would be interesting how muchmoney he invested in the project, especially in the engine to achieve this 600+HP.
From my feeling I would go for bigger brakes (GT3 setup with 6/4 piston calipers and 350/330 discs) with this huge hp and tq numbers.
Does anybody know the weight of the engine and gearbox and the lengh of the block compared to the n/a 944 block ?
Cheers
Stefan

Nice one kyttet!! Are you using E85 to run 2.1bar?
What is hk, as in 727? What does that compare to in hp or kw?

So is that hp at the crank only??? lol Very impressive. Nice to see something different.
Is that a complete Supra running gear on this car? What about CVs etc?
Speaking of high output Swedish missiles, where's Corleone lately?
