I did have some excellent stuff on fuel doping it had 93 as a base then had enrichments by percentage for adding stuff by percentage it had toluene methanol nitromethane. i will try and find it .
there is uselly an increase in fueling due to higher octanes have less calorific value and also more fuel to match more performance that is available .
I think nitromethane is the only way to in crease calorific value (energy density).
so at a guess for E85 i would go half way to the methonal tune i from memory when one converts to methanol you increase by a blanket 30% but max power will increase by 20% so you need 120% of 130% of were you started .
Would start with a 10% increase but i would be starting at 11:1 so not far from were he is .
I believe many of these fuels will burn cooler and show less EGT
seems the good ol boys in Houston still own Australia so could run my car on cocaine or uranium easier than E85

I would be anxious to dyno a high boost e85 run at proper tune to see how it does.
What turbo are you using - you left that out of the sig.

There are only 2-3 Stations that sell it here in Houston. By the time I get there and back. I'm out of gas!

where do you get your race gas here? I have a Performance Box I picked up off eBay (DriftBox sans drifting accelerometers) and plan to do some GPS based 1/4 mile and 60-130 runs. Gotta see your ride now that its running

E-85...
There is one at a Krogers in Pearland. One on the north side off of 1960. and I hear one close to Baytown. Another one in Humble....(no thanks!)
Please stop by!!! See my warehouse space/Hobby shop. Don't come until this weekend though. Missing an axle at the moment.
ok. Finally. Here's the best run at 15psi Video. Me against a Stang. You can hear the turbo spool at first. I bog bad, he gets ahead. I catch traction then blow by him.
1/4 mile video
Here's where I lost to a TRUCK! Broke the axle in 2nd gear.
broken axle race

95ONE Good job. It's tough to get the power to the ground on our cars. My trys at the track were a dismal failure. Every time I tried to spin off the line it would bog and kill the time. They had the sticky stuff on the track for the big power guys and it did me no good. You put on a respectable showing for our 951s.
There was a 'Mostly Stock' 951 on "Test and Tune" on Speed channel last night. The contestants try to guess the ET for the cars going down the track. I pegged it with a 14.4 something. MPH was something like mid to high 90s.

Nice vid
I am seriously looking to get back up there this week I just can't figure out which car to take ???
I just went out and drove both a little bit ago and I just love my litle s/c car this thing just kicks a$$ out of the hole but the 951 just has so much more pull
I am truly trying to figure it out right now.
I haven't had the 51 up yet but I haven't really tried to get a good launch yet either and the 44 is soo easy to launch. I just need the best of both, the low end of the s/c and the top end of the turbo.
If I go weds I'll post some new vids current vids are on dragtimes dot com the car looks much better now.
Flippin coins but your vid is really pushing me to go this week. Just not sure I want to take a chance on breaking something.
Maybe I can talk my little brother into running one of them for me His 6.0 Z28 is down right now anyway. I bet he'd do it.
