I definately agree. Excellent MPH. I have been following Mike's project from the start. There are low low 12's or some high 11's in there.

Thanks guys, I was pretty pleased with it, especially considering the car was in "street" trim that day. Was racing a friend who knew some people that rented out the track and they convinced me to come. Not a huge fan of drag racing, but I love going there with a case of beer on a friday night and smelling the VVT and burnouts and having a good ol time The supra went 11.3 @ 133 on Radials.

Another G-Tech.. this is for the last engine. Slow start and slow gear changes, this run was made to check the 100-200 km/h time.

Can we also ask to specify what mods or dyno no's in the cars shown?

Hello I'm new here and I have a s/c 944 running low boost that has gone 14.09 @98 @5800 ft with the methanol injection not working properly and no intercooler. I have since put an intecooler on it and sorted my methanol problem. I will be going back up in a couple of weeks (it should run way better). The slip and video (the car isn't pretty in the vid and has been painted since) are on dragtimes

I also just puchased a 951 that I am currently running on 17-18 psi that has some good mods so far and I willl be taking it as welll when I go.

I would like to see more people on here post thier times on that site so everyone knows what to shoot for.

Those G-techs are pretty cool. The Speeds (MPH) are crazy high for the times though. Did you guys spin the whole way down, (Which I know had something to do with it considering the 60' times. ) or do you have huge turbos? (No spool or boost 'till taller gears)

The MPH is the most impoertant number. But I do appreciate all the others. It realy does help me "see" what happened.

Any MPH in the 120's?

It's raining off and on today. I REALLY want to get a run in tomorrow.

Lag for traction, top end for action

My car stock, except for a Guru Chip ran a 13.9 @ 102 also, forgot about that.

No spinning for me and I was not pushing the car hard as you can see from the G-tech my fixed shift point was set at 5500rpm so I wasnt getting anywhere near the redline. Im not really good at reading all the numbers and understanding their meaning but my explanation would be that as most know the 951 is not a very good drag car but once its got some speed (75mph +) it really starts to accelerate hard and begins to come into its own. I think there are some cars that would kill me off the line but if I catch them on the freeway at 70 and we go from there its no contest.

Also I was using a K27/6 when I did that g-tech run. About to put in a LR Super 61 so there could be some improvement.

This is exactly true of what I see between my s/c 944 and my 951. The 944 is a stop light to light car while the 951 kills it from a roll on. Been tested When everything is dailed on the 944 it completely outperforms the 951 in a quarter mile.

If I were an auto X guy (hopefully soon) I would use the 2 cars at different tracks. The 944 for tight and the 951 for more open tracks.

If I can figure out a way to get the 951 to launch in the sub 2.0 60' range it should do pretty well too.

I see what you guys are saying. A stepped limiter will fix stuff like that, but 1/4 mile specific part, and very hard on the drive train. But also know, this is the case with most low compression turbo cars. They do manage pretty good 60' with practice.
It's thunderstorms forecasted for tomorrow. Not happy. I'm Dying to do it. But it's probably not going to happen. I'm soooooo sick of this rain. non-stop.

12.3 My timeslip was in another post on here somewhere from a few years ago. 315 nitto DR's 60-1 turbo t-3 hotside 3" catback msd with 2 step. Lsd rear sfr catback milled head guru map kit stg 2. E-01 boost controller. decent short time 2.1 or 1.9 I think I was driving 2 cars that night. Just at 120 in the traps. a deep search may find the scanned slip and pics of the car at the track.

I've been searching. I'll do an official top ten when I'm done. I'm going back as many years as it takes.

Here's a quote from 86944turbo from 2003.

"I ran 11.85 on med. boost (17 lbs/1.16 bar). Better than anything I've had on high with the Dunlops. One pass w/ lots of wheel hop. Speed was only 124~. I tried to back pedal, but not able to eliminate the hop. Too scared for another pass. Once it starts, it's tough to stop. That does not mean it will always hop, sometimes it happens. Full tank and tools, too. I did not really want the P-Zeros, dated design, poor results when compared to SO-2's and 3's, But, they work hecka better than I would have imagined. Far more than the increrase in width. I'm speaking mainly of braking, turning, (crispness is probably due to the lower profile) and overall confidence. Huge difference. I can only imagine what a great set of tires could offer. 131 mph (w/245's) is the best speed I've had. That's with a total of 3 runs (maybe less) on high ( 20lbs.) boost. Tire pressure was 34 cold. The right cam and you can run less boost w/same or more h/p. Also, w/the 6 spd. your shifting 4 times in the 1/4. 5 spd is only 3."

131mph is phenominal. Pretty tough to beat in that arena... But I don't think the 11.85 is out of reach. SO there is still room.
