Heja Sverige! As a matter of fact this installation is THE most bad-assed I've seen... For a second -or a minute- I played with a thought of a 996 turbo engine planted where 944's rear seat is and married to a 951's gearbox. but I only had that engine...not that car...

Wow, a flat-six in a 944...what would the purists say then? Does anyone know if the exhaust is sent all the way to the back of the car, or does it dump right after the turbo's up front?

Here are a few I shot of a car built by SmithMotorworks in Panama City Beach, FL. A few things are a little much for my personal taste but I will say that it runs like a scalded dog on the track. The Dr. built it for his son (in the last pic) for a track car. They both run track events and I believe Mike has his competition license.
