Usual driveline loss for a 420hp 951 is about 40-42 hp.... 380whp or so,then.

Markus, it is interesting to see your EGT since too retarted ignition can make the EGT dangerously high. Not saying it is the case with your engine, just interesting for us engine nerds

Do you know how much the dyno calculated your driveline loss? It should generate both a rwhp number and a calculated flyhweel number.
there are three thing that cause egt to climb up:

lean mixture
late ignition timing
early cam timing
from these two latter ones are practically harmless to engine
first one on the contrary is fatal to the engine

only thing that might be in danger due to late ignition-caused egt buildup is the echaust valves, and if they are good material (this case sodium filled), it makes no harm to get over 1000 celsius.

But of course that is something all of you know, just wanted to point that out here.

Have you examined the factory exhaust valves? Do you think it's made out of the same materials across? Perhaps Skunk have examined the materials the stock valve is made out of?

If you are running high EGTs for whatever reason, make sure the spark plugs can take it!

Yes, the old stage 2 and you should see the exhasut that was on that car for the run. Some muffler shop welded in a TWO INCH section in place of the cat.
Worst I've seen.

The dyno guy goes,...."UUUUUH, Jim, you might want to take a look at his exhaust"

Jim, take a picture of that exhaust and post it up. No one on this site will believe those numbers were made with that thing.

Shaheed, with John so close to you, I have a sneaking suspicion that the car is going to slide up a few spots. . .
