I am not sure "everyone" grasps the dyno differences Joe... Well all know you have the most powerful 944 though Next step dynojet for you! Same with ST, then he will blow the number one 2.5 spot to history

No problem NZ. I'm just really happy I found out my car is faster than I even thought. With my dyno dynamics dyno, I know I'm over 500 with a dyno jet. I'm cool just knowing that. I don't want to have to prove anything. I just wanted you to change my stat after my place on the chart in parenthesis where it says "dynojet". It should say dyno dynamics like your sig. Your right. Next step is a dynojet.

Ever saw the article on the Doom car pushing 900Bhp? and what about Bob Howard's 600+Bhp 2.6?

All were on Excellence Magazine, doubt they would post mis-informed articles there.

Neither of those cars get even a mention - they both broke very quickly.

Milledge is currently fixing Howard's cluster-**** POS - you can ask Rennlister Mark944trubo about it - he works for Milledge.

James, you maybe right there, since i don't know what are the status of either car. But isn't this thread "Rennlist Top 10 HP/TQ " and not "Rennlist Top 10 Reliable Car" ?

No boost limts, no modification limits? the only thing categorized here is the engine capacity.

One does have to be a Rennlist member to play.

Your right ST. If I'm not mistaken, Howard's car barely even made it a few practice laps, let alone qualified for any events. It "constantly" broke down all the time after Norwood built it. At the time of the Excellence article in 2003, he was running 24PSI and putting down 540RWHP. But as you know, the car was nothing but an absolute nightmare. I can't even begin to imagine that insane amount of money he paid Norwood too. And you're right, JME now how is it and will practically rebuild the whole thing. Who knows, in total, he may wind up paying just as much as Defastest951 did for his 3.0L 16V 951 - which according to the Powerhaus web site was $200K?

Yes all were in Excellence. And I have to agree, I "highly" doubt that the cars they test & review and not accurately represented.

Joe, I'm not doubting that you made 480whp. I just don't think that a dyno jet will produce inflated numbers over the dyno dynamics or mustang dyno. I believe there all within 5% of each other. I have bin on quite a few dyno's of all varieties. Put your car on a dyno jet and post the results.

On my fairly stock car I saw a 12% difference between a Mustang and a Dyno Dynamics.

With 200K I would expect to get 600whp out of the 2.5L, easily.

A moter that can handle 30+psi, I see 1.8L, 2L and the such doing it all the time and making far more hp.

Just pop in an extra row of injectors in with bigger fuel lines and a higher volume fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator then crank up the boost!

No Guts, No Glory!
