According to TOP TEN HP/ TORQUE list there are plenty of people running 500 crank hp-s. What are those people using ST, what spec is you cam?

Then again, stock head should flow more than enogh to support 500 hp.

Is there a way that I could get there with stock valvesprings and hydraulic lifters. Or there is no 100% answer for that.

Is Lindsey the only company who could supply stiffer springs and titanium retainers?

Looked for contact in performance developmens web, coul not find one..

You don't necessarily need CUSTOM cam. If you have the flexibility to tune your management to the hardware, you will do okay - instead of buying a cam to suit the afr
I am sure my brothers in Germany will be happy to sell you a ridiculously expensive "custom" cam, not dyno it, then laugh at your *** when you leave.

sorry guys but we are talking a different language.
I think it is better to try to find your self how to make big HP.
stock cam? custom cam? what are the specs?
all these question shows only that you are not understand what I mean.
so for the kast time
if you are happy with the car as it is ok. if not is also ok.
if you want the MAXIMUM out of this engine then you must brig the engine (or a similar one) make the parts that it is needed for THIS specific engine and then be happy with the results. None of these parts are ready and there are no specs. there is no catalog and no web site.
This is a race engine builder.
you deliver your engine and he makes the max out of it. He is one of the best if not the best from all the private racing teams i germany. most of the engine which wins and last more than a year (average for other is 2 races) are from him. You can not even get him to make an engine for you.
I wanted to help. If you want to have a good engine I can talk to him. If he agrees and has the time is ok, if not is also ok. he do talk and discuss long time as he has enough work to do.

nobody of the private engine builder can come close to him. He also make R&D for VW and other companies. is it possible to gain 50 HP with an exhaust only?
He did it in VW Phaethon.
is it possible to rev 10500 rpm in a Golf and race the whole season without problem. He is the only one who wins for 5 years in a row
there are so many examble.
he put the engine on an engine dyno and he shows you the result (before and after)
he do not promise any HP before. he just saw you the result when he is ready. If you do not agree no reason to make the engine by him.
till now nobody complained about not enough HP or reliability

thats all. you decide.
with the money that some spend on add on they could have a really good engine made by a really good professional engine builder.- The results would be much better

I understand quite good what you mean, but the thing is that you are far far away from the place I live. Germany in not next to Estonia there are few thousand km between us..thats why it is hard but I thanks for trying to help me.

If I had a specialist like yours here in estonia I would not have that talk here. Therefore im asking as much information as possible. I have to concider what options are available and then make a dicision what exactly to do right?

Anyway I will post all the detailes how I got the 500 hp so there is no secret. and if someone facing the same problem then they could read my thread and make some decisions easily..

This is a repost, but still something to consider since Markus is currently pushing 27psi and 98 RON

That's 30psi on 96 RON (91 US Octane)

Jocke Sahlin from Sweden has a 745 hk M3 Turbo....boosting 2.1 bar and fairly taken to the max. So 250 hp more...hmmmm....doubtful......

I 'ave no duckin' clue...I'm not into Beemers...all I know is that he did a 9-sec quarter with it. I prefer to get my kicks in Porsche's finest...or almost finest, the 968 still has the edge on the 951...

That is,unless I want to go for the Hot Wok option of a 600ft/lbs-wielding 3000GT...

I'm starting to think Special is psychic.... yes the 745 hp engine Skunk talkes about is an S14.
However, the popular approach here in Sweden is to turbocharge the big old M5 engines and put them in E30 chassis.

Skunk>> If I remember correctly DA uses 3.2 liter displacement versus 2.5 liter for Sahlin's engine so it's not that far away. But still... 1000 hp is probably not the full truth..
