Btw, are you running 27psi boost with 98 octane fuel?? Not getting knock?! WOW! Thats insane!

(did you get some time around the course with your car?)

Actually my car was there with my friends, I could not go. I am newby in this forum dont know so many people who live close by. But definitely shame on me because i could not go.

I have 0 knock on 28 psi, thats with 98 fuel and one degree colder NGK spark plugs. I have driven it with 30 psi with old camshaft and 0 knock. When we went on dyno a bit more agressive cam we had only 150 km to adjust it so we did not raise the boost to 29 psi because it stats to surge even on lower rpm on 5th gear.

BTW if I remember right, I have 1.8 bar on 4th gear@3500 rpm. at 3200 rpm i have 0.6 bar. Everithing after that happens really quickly.
My stock clutch starts to wear out, and most importantly I HAVE STOCK HEAD GASKET , not the widefire or Cometic multilayer or anything like that and i holds up pretty good.

Cople of questions, stock rods should be good at least 600 nm? Stock pistons? how much those could hold?

Im planning to repaint the car in winter, does anyone now paint code for this paint. Some say thst Riviera blue, some say Mexico Blue, any comments?

Did you record any EGT readings
No I did not, I havent installed the EGT sensor yet, but it is on the list, then my fuel management can log it with NP!

That is very interesting on how much boost you ran on 98 RON fuel, you must have run really retard timing there? hence me asking on EGT's, could be really high.

how do you know that you have no knock?

the stock piston hold more than the rest of the engine except if you knocking.
check your EGT. The engien is still ok because you are runing to rich and low timing, otherwise you would have knocking-> bye headgasket

how do you know that you have no knock?
on the dyno they checked with specal device, also i have zero knock on my datalog. Of course it was not laboritory equipment but still those guy's really know what they where doing, check them out, some 900+ hp cars there http://www.sci.fi/~hestec2/english/index.htm

As far as top end being rich, it is for safety reasons, and we did not have time to do anything on the dyno, because of they'r busy chedule. Ill sort those things out and post you the EGT readings.

Are you logging knock with the Hestec? Or a "stand alone" knock sensor setup?

Im am using stock knock sensor what is connected to my TATECH fuel management. And the dyno guys used their own equipment (stethoscope type) to listen knock with their own ears, and yeah no knock

Seems to me this Finnish Tatec engine management system is quite good!

I know currently one other 951 into which this system will be installed in the near future.

Seems to me this Finnish Tatec engine management system is quite good!
I cant complain, it works guite well, i can drive it with part throttle, I can cruise with it on vacum, it does not sputter at all. My fuel consumption is better than on stock 951 etc. I discovered today that my alternator is giving me bad voltage it is somewhere between 12.8-13.1, never higher than 13.2 (that what my EMS shows. That means quite a few things, my fuel pump is not working as it should, my spark is weaker etc. Ill will change the voltage regulator inside of the alternator, will see is that the problem. Car should start to perform even better.

Does anyone have stock 951 (184) kw dyno sheet. Id like to compaire the torque/hp vs rpm levels. Id like to see is my setup weaker on some points compaire to stock KKK26/8 charger.

Anyway guys as I could not find a scanner quickly I did photo out of my dyno sheet Sry about bad quality but this is how it looks:

Also I tryed some "speedlines" on my car. Inside is written "For Racing only"

Anyway wheels are 10*18 on front with 265/35/18 rubber and 11*18 rear with 285/30/18 rubber. They stick out a lot so i need to modify arches to make them fit. They stick out approx 2 cm.

My biggest concer in engine tuning wise is the head and the camshaft.
How much stock head can flow?
Im most probably will go for webcam, and adjustable cam gear. What is maximum hp people have gained with wilder cam (like webcam) and adjustable cam gear.
Head porting. There is no porsche specialists around here, can anyone give me a tip if there is something special compaire to other cars. I can find an experienced mechanic who could do the port job for me. How many degrees you turn the cam gear and on witch way? I desperately need that 500 hp and 600 nm of torque
