The front ones look perfect so at the moment just doing the back. I guess ideally I should change all 4 but I am poor at the moment so the fronts will have to wait.

Guys, do any of you have speakers on your back shelf (oem option)? If yes can you post pictures?

I cant see how speakers on the back shelf would be much good unless you drive with the roof closed often. With it open wouldn't the roof completely cover the speakers. I changed the rear speakers for components and since my roof is manual put the tweeters in the holes for the emergency crank. Here is a link to my thread.

I'm not interested in putting speakers back there, just wondering if anyone has pictures of how the oem setup looks like since it was an option from the factory.

I decided I am doing the cover in Black and going with silver for the fuel lines. My plug wires are red (they were on the car when I got it) but I will go back to black next time they need changing. Overall I think that the black valve cover suits the black on black car and the silver will add a bit of bling along with the chrome strut bar.

Really warm day out getting excited to put her on the road soon
That will look good! I did mine in red.
It was warm enough over here also. Did the rebuilt control arm swap since ball joint s were going and went for quick spirited drive.

I will probably do the fronts later in the summer.

On this topic when I install the new lines should I use Teflon tape on the screw on hose joints? Just doing some plumbing in the house this weekend and thought about it.

here is a link to 944 thread about line replacement. on the second page you can see the lines on my S2.
I did not put any thing on the threads and did not notice any thing on the ones I removed.
as you can read on that thread my front lines were original and very brittle. the back lines were 03 and more felexible.

I wish I could figure out why I can't post pics

Has anyone put phone dials on their cab? Haven't found any pictures of cabs with them...
